Our trek to Ama Dablam Base Camp with World Expeditions end of Oct 2025 exceeded our expectations. We had already trekked with them twice and had been impressed with the organisation from booking, right through to departure, as well as the companies ethos. This trek was superbly organised and the quality of the tented accommodation, the food, the kit was even better than before. However it was the leadership of Bhim and his crew that made this trek so good and memorable. Our cooks provide the most delicious meals and plenty of it. Bhim led us safely (It rained alot for 4 days) changing the itinerary to ensure our enjoyment but never compromising our safety. We had a wonderful experience and felt privileged to be in such an awesome environment and in meeting the Nepali people and learning about their culture. The Radisson hotel provided a fitting start and end to our trek, a massage is a great way to finish! Thankyou to all the World Expedition employees for continuing to provide an excellent service and experience. As far as we know they are the only company offering an eco camps and it is a very special experience.

Bhutan Snowman Exploratory Trek with Soren Kruse Ledet: fantastic trip, highly recommended. Pre-booking information was comprehensive, booking was easy, and the trip itself was one of a lifetime.

World Expeditions trip β€œ Mongolia Nomad Explorer” gave me a wonderful insight into the life and environment of the nomadic community. A superbly organised adventure made all the better by a wonderful team led by Tim Cope. I look forward to a further adventures in Mongolia in the near future and experiencing more of this amazing country.

Recently returned from a Patagonia Adventure arranged by WE and it exceeded our expectations as a destination! The itinerary worked so well and combined three National Parks, two countries (Argentina and Chile) and blended all travel arrangements and logistics by bus, minivan, car and boat with very comfortable accommodation. The trip provided extraordinary sightseeing to glaciers and vast ice fields along with with iconic day walks in the Fitzroy range and Torres National Park. The zodiac boat trip up the Rio Serrano through rapids and strong currents to Torres National Park was incredible and life affirming! Friendly local guides provided insights into flora, fauna, geology and all aspects of everyday life .. which meant we could just enjoy not looking at maps but enjoying the staggering scenery. It was a trip of a lifetime! Go!

I took the Shikoku pilgrimage at the beginning of November as a solo traveller. The pilgrimage itself is beautiful and the paths are very well maintained. The maps and guides provided are good quality and easy to follow. The guides also included some phrases which were useful for someone with a very elementary and rusty Japanese. The team at world expeditions took care of all the bookings and they selected very nice hotels, special mention to the hotel in Kamiyama that had absolutely beautiful views. The extra guides also have really good info on which buses to take, with prices and some time alternatives. Lastly, I had to reach out to support on the last day, I had some trouble and ended up missing the transport and they replied within minutes and helped me adjust my plans for the day with new train schedules. Overall really great experience thank you

After three failed attempts to visit Nepal and Everest Base Camp due to the pandemic, the UK team couldn't help enough with the forth rescheduling and assistance leading up and throughout the epic trip to Nepal. It was a truly wonderful experience from the moment we were picked up by the hotel staff and meeting Samde our guide, a lovely man who couldn’t do enough for us. These guys make the trip happen and without them would make it near on impossible. I did the trek for a charity close to me, Asthma UK and something I've suffered with for over 40 years. Raising a large amount of money to help with future research. Until the next world adventure, thank you once again to you and your colleagues in Nepal. I will be back at some point!

The ancient landscape and special spiritual places of the Larapinta Trail were mesmerising. The 6 day itinerary covered all the highlights and having three camps allowed maximum walking time. Nice to have the alternate long and short days and I learned a lot from the Standley Chasm cultural talk. The guides had said β€˜take your time’, β€˜be in the moment’ and that’s how I like to walk. They were so patient with me hanging at the back of the group taking photos and soaking it all in! Thanks so much for your care and professionalism Ruth, Claire and Peter. Met some lovely people too!

Remote Northern Flinders Ranges (AUS) Camel Trek showed me the red, rugged heart of our country while removing all the chatter of life, leaving me free to walk, think and just 'be.' Ryan, the cameleer has an amazing affinity with his camels. It was a trek worth doing again.

I went on a trek to the Himalayan region of Nepal. World Expeditions organised everything, from the flights, to the food and accommodation. We had guides and sherpas, all provided and the itinerary was second to none. I went with a grup of nine other friends and we all agreed that World Expeditions made it the holiday of a lifetime for every one of us.

I have recently booked a hike to the top of Kilimanjaro through World Expeditions. The booking experience was very straightforward and the communication could not have been better. I booked quite last minute and everything on their side was very clear and timely - which made it for a stress-free experience. Thanks for your professionalism! The trip was not World Expeditions exclusive, which means it was done by a local company. I think it is great that World Expeditions works with local companies to fulfil their trip. I really enjoyed being able to connect with local communities and hear about the story of Tanzania. African Walking Company was great - the atmosphere was safe and friendly, yet serious about the risks. Guide, assistant guides and porters/helpers were all extremely helpful and enhanced the experience from start to finish!
