Ordered through phone I asked them is paying with card okay they said fine food arrived and apparently the card machine battery ran out even though I seen it up and running and never offered me to pay with cash or nothing shocking service
Very tasty food and fresh meat in a quiet location just outside the center of Edinburgh. Prices are very reasonable, and the portions are large and satisfying. Everything was also very neat and well presented. Well done !
Ordered a kebab and a pizza. The kebab arrived in separate parts and you had to make it yourself, which was very disappointing. I’m not sure what I’m paying for if I have to assemble it myself. The pita bread and kebab meat were extremely dry. The pizza was average; I’ve had a lot better. I’ve been to the other Javits locations, which have always been really good, but the Gilmerton one is disappointing. Edit after owner reply- The owner clearly doesnt like feedback as all his replys insinuate the customer is wrong and the below average food is 5 star which it definitely is not at this branch! Also a bit of carboard would be less dry than the pita and meat you delivered.
I tried to order tonight at around 23:40 23rd July 2025. Firstly they weren’t accepting deliveries which is fair enough. I tried to then place an order for collection, the tired to charge me the wrong price! On their website it says £13.50 for a home alone deal 3, but the guy on the phone tried to charge me nearly £27.50 for it! I appreciate that O was ordering quite late, I highly suspect they only tried this just so they dont have to make my order as they’ll have to clean up and wont be able to go home on time - even though they don't shut until 12 am. That guy on the phone was showing me attitude! Telling me its “some promotion on the website” huh?!? And before you say - why didnt you just place the order online? I did! My order was stuck on “order confirmation” - it never went through. When i phoned the shop they said they never received any order. Wow you got what you were hoping for mate. We ordered from here the other night same time for delivery and got it in no time - the food was very nice and we really enjoyed it - but pleased to say that Im never ordering from here again. Better kebab shops around anyway. Thanks guys
Overpriced and the chilli sauce is rank How can you sell a Donner pizza for £15 terrible wont be back it’s just average not nice

kebab arrived barely warm drowned in sauce salad missing,the meat allegedly lamd tasted of nothing maybe that why they drown it in sauce, what an utter joke il refund it through my card provider
This place catches a few bad reviews, but we actually enjoyed it. Ordered a kebab and pizza and both were really nice. Kebab meat fresh unlike some other places and the pizza was lovely, and their chilli sauce is gorgeous has a nice kick to it.
