We have hosted our Office Christmas Party at Zerodegrees in Bristol twice now, and have had extremely positive experiences both times. We are a large group of 300, and the venue was perfect. The event manager Paul was extremely accommodating and couldn't do enough to help, ensuring the party went smoothly. The atmosphere was fantastic and the staff were very friendly and ensured we had the best time. The food was great (we opted for a buffet style) and it was perfect for the guests, we had plenty and the venue kept replenishing ensuring food was fresh and we had what we needed. They also took allergies very seriously and ensured everything was clearly labelled. The venue is perfect for a mix of standing and seating, making it accessible for all and great for the whole evening (from eating and chatting earlier in the night, to plenty of room for dancing later on!) Thank you so much to the whole Zerodegrees team for making our night fantastic!

Our university society held our Christmas dinner at Zero Degrees last night, and the experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. Less than an hour before the event, we were informed that around 100 club members would be unseated, despite being promised a sit down meal. When we arrived, we were then told the meal would be buffet-style instead of the sit down service we had paid for. The buffet was nowhere near adequate for 250 people, leaving most people standing around the station waiting for food that never came. Many people didn’t get fed at all. The vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and allergen-friendly options were placed right next to all the other food and were eaten immediately due to the general shortage. Even after we raised this with staff, it took nearly 45 minutes for any replacement dietary meals to arrive. To “compensate”, we were given extra drink tokens, which only made the situation more chaotic. The bar was understaffed, queues were huge, and it took roughly 20 minutes just to get a drink. Overall, the evening was spent standing around, hungry, and waiting for scraps of food or a chance at the bar. For the amount of money paid and the expectations set beforehand, the whole experience fell far below any reasonable standard. I would not recommend this venue for large events.

Long wait of over 30 minutes for food despite being quiet. Ordered two pizzas, tomato salad, and loaded fries. Around 5 minutes after being served we were asked if the food was okay. We said yes. When it came to paying we commented that the pepperoni pizza was soggy in the centre and not cooked properly. Apparently there was a trainee chef on the shift. We were offered free desserts, but didn't want them. Then we were told we should have complained earlier (when asked if all was okay) and a fresh pizza could have been made! We couldn't have waited another 30 minutes for a fresh pizza as we had a concert to go to. We requested that the 12.5% service charge (only mentioned in small print at the bottom of the menu) be removed from the bill and we're told it was on the system and couldn't removed. Eventually they knocked £2.50 off the bill. We won't be going back.

I walked quite a way to go here and it was worth it. The pineapple beer and strawberry milkshake beer were really good. Missed out trying mango beer as I had a meal booked elsewhere. I shall definitely return, loved the place. My wife really enjoyed the mocktails as well.

We have been coming here for 7 years now and have always been happy with the food and the service. The quality of the service got worse last year but I thought I give the place one last chance this year. Well, I shouldn't have. We booked a table for 2 and asked specifically for a window seat upstairs where we usually sit. Downstairs is full of tables for large group of people with very loud music, not ideal for couples at all. They put us right opposite to the toilet downstairs (I was listening to the sound of the hand dryer all evening) and said upstairs is booked... When we tried to order the waitress couldn't hear us and asked 3 times as the music was so loud. We order muscles every year but when the lady said they don't have muscles we were super disappointed. We told her our concern, she didn't even apologise just kept saying it's not their fault there was no delivery. We ordered lasagna and pizza instead but should have gone somewhere else as both were mediocre with not much flavour, not to mention the watered down Aperol spritz for £9.50. This place is not the same as it used to be, maybe due to a management change. The food has changed as well as the quality of the service. Anyways they have lost a customer, we won't be coming back and won't recommend it to our friends. It really is a shame as our date night was ruined.

Visited with a group of friends on a Saturday afternoon and although it wasn’t peak times, the atmosphere was still lively and we felt welcome. The bar/restaurant is central in Bristol, located at a height overlooking the city centre. I went for the lamb pizza, which had just the right about of a chilli kick to be absolutely delicious. Their own mango beer is now a firm favourite of mine! Staff were extremely accommodating and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed (even popcorn when playing pool). I couldn’t fault our experience at Zerodegrees and look forward to returning for more yummy food!

Such a wonderful time, my family (4) tried the metre long pizza and it was amazing!! you can split it up into four and have different types of pizza on each bit, it allows you to try lots of the menu at a reasonable price for the amount of pizza you get. The beer was excellent highly recommend. After we finished our meal which was waited by Tom, who was great and friendly, we sat down in the ‘bar area’ and enjoyed drinks and played cards, great way to end our trip in Bristol!
