   Who knew a direct flight from London to Lagos would be the same price or cheaper than an indirect flight? Or that travel agents can sometimes get you better deal than Google Flights and Skyscanner? This was Godly luck but also thanks go to the diligence of Sarah at Flight Gurus who managed to book me on a Virgin Atlantic flight in December. Other travel agents called me but their offer of 35 hour flight and layover for the same price did not sway me. Sarah was honest, conversational and did not force a sale. She even called a day later to check that I received the tickets. This surprised me as I assumed they travel agents did not care that much. But was good of her as was the fact she always left an actual phone number that I could call. This is vital with so many offers from travel agents, you want to be able to decide quickly. So based on this experience I will be calling Flight Gurus again next time I use Google Flights.

   They booked a very expensive flight for me and swore that I couldn't get it cheaper and if I did I will get my deposit back. Within 24 hours of booking the ticket I got the same ticket £200 cheaper & I called back within 24 hours to cancel and requested for my deposit. They refused and blatantly lied to me. However after many calls, uncounted emails, arguments and accusations (from them) , It took almost 2 months before they finally agreed to give me some vouchers. I wanted to use the vouchers to book another flight, but I informed that they can only be used for certain flights to the USA which I have no plans to go yet. I was not able to use it for the flight of my choice. This company is very deceptive from the sales assistance through to the managers. Please do not do business with them, they are highly risky.

   This company isn't even worthy of one star. Paid deposits for a holiday, my dad passed away unexpectedly and Wouldn't refund his deposit. Went to pay the rest of my ticket and got told the flight had changed and it would be an extra £1000 and I had to pay immediately or I'd loose the tickets. Not only that I asked for flight details to be sent which he said he would do but I had to ring the airline direct after all my emails asking for them got ignored. I'm never using a company like this again. Flight center for me next time, at least you get some customer service with them and there main goal isn't ripping you off!
