   We decided to book Gitcombe estate for our 40th wedding anniversary, and we took our son, partner and grandson. The garden house we booked was very spacious and had plenty of equipment for all occasions. The bottle of champagne was a very nice touch by the owners. Peter the owner is a very nice and approachable guy. The facilities are very good with an indoor and outdoor swimming pool. The tennis court is a real treat and we used this facility every day. A spacious indoor and outdoor playing area for the little one's to enjoy their day. A sauna, jacuzzi, and steam room which wa lovely after a swim. There's so much to do in the surrounding areas which we took full advantage of. We will definitely return to Gitcombe estate as it's just such a lovely place to relax, or do as much as you want.

   We've been going to Gitcombe every year for the last 9 years and every time it's like coming home. Peter the owner always makes us feel welcome and the facilities (outdoor/ indoor pools, tennis courts, playground, soft play, hot tubs, sauna etc.) are just fantastic. Hoping to enjoy many more family holidays in the future at this magical place.

   What a find! Emma and the owners were so kind and accommodating to our last minute plans, and they made sure we had everything we needed for our twin toddlers. The site is beautiful with wild flowers and rolling hills. Our girls loved the pool, adventure playground and tennis court. Everything was in easy reach, making it relaxing for us parents too. I particularly loved the hot tub with those amazing views. Top class beaches and eateries close by and our girls got a taste for crab and fish n chips. Some very happy family memories made here and we can’t wait to return. Thank you Emma, Peter and Amy for a fantastic few days. X

   Absolutely beautiful. We stayed in the Gitcombe Retreat and it was the most amazing place we have ever stayed! Pure bliss. We had a lovely holiday and will definitely be returning. Property was faultless. Stunning views and absolutely everything you needed. The pool and spa facilities are gorgeous and we used these daily. Best place ever! Can’t wait to return! Thank you

   Great location in a quiet wee dell. Very close to Dartmouth and the beaches of South Hams, with Dartmoor only a short drive away. Peter was very welcoming and helpful during our stay, the accommodation was is very comfortable, with all the white goods and bits and bobs you'll need for a 7 day stay. They even supply windbreaks for the beach, toys for the kids, wood for the log burners. The pool and hot tub were run through a booking system, which gave a benefit of having the space to yourselves. For us the peace and quiet of the location was welcome after the hustle and bustle of the city. We will be back!
