Dropped in for some sushi because I suddenly felt an urge for some raw fish. Came here due to its proximity to the Marriott, and also because of its good reviews. Pretty simplistic dining atmosphere, but food is good. I had the salmon assorted, which has 16 pcs of sushi, all featuring salmom. Quality is quite good. The salmon tastes fresh. Service is consistent with the decor and the type of establishment. Efficient without being pushy. They also feature other Japanese dishes like noodles, etc. As well as assorted of Japanese drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic. For a convenient city centre location, and not having to hike up the hill (it's at the bottom of College Green/Park Street), it's very easy to get to and offers good food. Not expensive either. THe salmon assortment is 22 pounds.

Beautiful restaurant with good menu selection. Liked the method of ordering, and food was all super fresh. Amazing Takoyaki. Thank you!

We booked here for Saturday night for 6 of us, being big fans of Japanese food. The food was excellent, and very reasonably priced. Service was good and efficient. Only suggestion I would have is if they could also do vegetable tempura that would be great. We all thoroughly enjoyed it though, so thank you very much.

I’m from Vancouver, which as the best sushi outside of Japan. This is VERY good, although expensive (of course, it’s England). Service is meh, atmosphere is great with the bustling street but patio tables/chairs not very comfortable.

The reservation went very smoothly and we were welcomed very kindly in the restaurant. Very simple design but has everything you need. The food was delicious and the service good as well. The only thing is the price is quite high for what you get. We do recommend it for special occasions!

Been looking forward to trying this place out on my ramen tour of Bristol. Was pretty average for the price that you pay. The Tonkotsu was lacking a lot of flavour though the pork served was delicious. The fish soup broth was really good and the starters were good. Service was okay, when going to the toilet the waitress asked where either was sitting. Made me feel uncomfortable being questioned. This lost a star.

A nice place to enjoy Japanese food. In my opinion, the quality of the food are very well, much much better than chain store in London. The price is quite high, but I will come again because of the delicious salmonella don. Look forward to try other food.

Really fast service and super nice! The food is very good quality and a decent sized menu. Its pretty mid priced so not bad at all. 10/10 would go again. I'd recommend booking before hand as it gets very busy.

A very nice restaurant. Good ambience and sit comfortably. Food are tasty and fresh. Reasonable price. The soup base is unbelievably good, it seems they roast the pork bones before cook. But it tastes like they make it in the way of Chinese rather than Japanese. I never taste any noodle soup like that in Japan before. The only disappointment is deep fried foods, it's too oily. Conclusion is, I think the chef is not from Japan. Food taste good, just not authentic.
