   This is a canteen style restaurant with basic or minimal decoration. We arrived early on a weekday and were the first customer. There are several takeaway deliverers collecting orders. By the time we left, another table had arrived. The menu looks interesting which is what brought me to try this place. But I’m afraid the food isn’t authentic at all. I had a bad feeling of food when I arrived as I saw the chef isn’t oriental. This isn’t biased. It’s based on experience. Authentic food truly comes from restaurants with authentic and original chef of that cuisine/country! We had bibimbap. It’s big portion and good value. However the beef brisket is pre cooked and just mixed in with pre cut vegetables and warm rice, more like a poke bowl. The taste is bland and the source tastes not homemade but rather bottle sauce. The Korean fried chicken tastes average. The salt and pepper squid are good! The kimchi pancake is supposed to be crispy but it tastes like soggy pancake drizzled with sauce. The restaurant was cold and didn’t feel like the heating was turned on. We had the coat on during dinner. I like venturing different restaurants and I’m glad I tried this one. But there won’t be second time.

   So sorry, but they were not bibimbap and korean chicken. I understand some korean food in the uk could be far away from the status of authentic taste. Unfortunately, they didn't reach my minimal expectation.

   Unfortunately, my recent visit to this restaurant was incredibly disappointing. Not only was the food below standardlacking flavour and freshness but the cleanliness of the entire establishment was shocking. The place appeared as though it hadn't been properly cleaned in a very long time. The photos speak for themselves: heavy dust buildup on fittings and a sink area in the toilets that was so dirty I had to resort to using my own hand sanitiser rather than touch anything. Paper waste was left around, grime in the corners, and general poor hygiene throughout. A clean environment is the minimum any customer should expect especially in a food establishment. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously and addresses them urgently. I won’t be returning.

   We visited Tuk Tuk as we’d heard their Korean Fried chicken was delicious and it certainly was, it was the highlight of our meal. The beef brisket boa buns were also delicious, the meat fell apart. The chicken dumplings were tasty, personally we prefer fried ones, although they had a slight crisp on the bottom and for steamed dumplings they were the tastiest I’ve had. The sauce with them was also very nice, in other places I’ve found it too acidic but it was the perfect balance and really added to the flavour. Friends ordered the prawn bites and salt and pepper squid which they both enjoyed. They also had the katsu fries, the sauce was really good, although they did find the powder on top had quite a kick to it (it’s not listened on the menu so if you want it mild ask them to leave this off). We also shared the yakitori, Japanese style chicken teriyaki skewers which we wouldn’t order again. It tasted fine but we all felt we were expecting more from the dish and compared to everything else was just okay. The chicken pieces are small so you get more for your money from the other dishes portion or taste wise. Service was great, the staff were friendly and attentive. One friend requested no peanuts on her chicken, a preference, but they were good to straight away check no allergies. We pre booked online on the day, it was quick and easy to do. We visited 6:30 on a Saturday evening, most others were walks ins and it was fairly busy. The food came out quickly and nice and fresh and hot.

   We ordered takeaway, most dishes were nice except the pad thai…. idk what they put it in but wouldn’t recommend. Too much of one ingredient but I couldn’t tell what it was? Could not have most than few mouthfuls. Order the katsu curry, what was nice!

   Not so much bibimbap, which I'm pretty sure involves hot rice and a bowl so hot it cooks the raw egg when you stir it it. More a cold rice bowl with a cooked egg and warm topping. But delicious, esp. when you mix the gochugang through it.

   Oh yes, great little find. A very simple menu, including an amazing Beef Rendang ... An Asian street kitchen in Stoke Croft Bristol. You'll be seeing me again! Fantastic flavour and ice cold Asahi, well done.

   Visited there for dining in. Clean environment. You have to order by yourself in front of the till food came out relatively quickly after ordering. I would say I would visit back there again.

   Tuk Tuck featured dishes from South Korea, Japan, Vietnam and more I would definitely recommend trying their super popular dish the Korean Bibimbap dish or the Kimchi Fries side. Tuk Tuck have lots to offer for vegans and along side the option to eat in they are also very popular on Deliveroo so you can enjoy your favourite Tuk Tuck dishes from home! My personal favourite dish is the Red Curry. The staff at Tuk Tuck are all very friendly and welcoming and they are always amazing at giving you recommendations on what to try!
