   We have just returned from a weeks holiday at Villa Hibernia booked via Caroline at Ocean Villas. From start to finish everything went to plan, Caroline answers all questions, and explains everything very clearly. We didn’t land until 10pm, we then had to collect our cars and drive to the villa, the property manager arrived to meet us and explain a few things inc the alarm system etc. This was our first time staying in this part of the Algarve, it was really beautiful. The villa is absolutely lovely and looks exactly as the advertised photos, it is extremely spacious & stunning! The kitchen/dining area is amazing, and is so well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The beds are extremely comfy & there are plenty of towels for the 5 bathrooms and pool. The pool heating charge was worth every penny for us being there in October, no shivering getting in the water. The are lovely gardens all the way round the villa with electric gates on the driveway and space for 2 cars making it very safe for families. There are so many areas outside for dining, lounging etc as well as a large bbq. We all had a really fantastic, relaxing time, and would highly recommend Villa Hibernia to everyone looking for an upmarket villa where everything you could possibly need is provided. We are so lucky to have stayed here & looking forward to another stay in the future. Thank you to the owners, manager and Ocean Villas.

   Wonderful stay for our family of 6 adults. Villa Bianca patroves is beautiful and wonderful views as at the top of a hill. Lovely big pool as both sons are 6 ft 5 and loved it. We used Ubers to get everywhere we wanted and very easy and quick. Great facilities in the kitchen. Thank you to Caroline, Nuno and Roderio for all your hard work! We would return!

   Villa Hibernia was the perfect villa for our needs. 5 en-suite bedrooms and huge open plan lounge/kitchen diner spilling out onto large terrace overlooking pool. Large pool terrace with lots of grassy areas. The villa is quite well situated in a nice area and across the road from Baia Grande Hotel, which is a nice reference point for taxis. The villa was well equipped with lots of extras. The service from local agent Nuno and booking agent, Ocean Villas was excellent and would definately book again.

   Is there a 0 rate that you could score, as that’s what I would give. We booked villa Penny (pinto), In Vilamoura. This had to be the worst week of my life! We were broken into twice. On the first occasion, we didn’t notice that cash had been taken until that afternoon, 2 wallets emptied as well as sunglasses. As we’d been around the villa all day we were unsure what doors (sliding) we had opened or not! We rang Amy, company management, & explained what had happened, for her to say that the money must have been taken while we were at the Hilton having a drink & that Vilamoura is very safe & little or no crime. We took this on board, however, it played on my mind all week as I knew this could not be the case. We also stated that the sliding door in the main bedroom didn’t lock & the window in the hallway didn’t lock either. Nothing was done! However, we continued our week as best we could. Until the night before we were due home. I couldn’t sleep, at 2.45am I heard the dogs barking next door, thought nothing off it, a few minutes later heard a clicking noise, still didn’t think much of it. At 3.30am I got up as the taxi was picking us up at 4.30. I got dressed, called my family, & went down the stairs to make a cup of tea before we left, as I went down stairs, I seen one of the sliding doors, there were 4 in total, wide open. As you can imagine the fear of god was in use. We quickly checked out the villa to make sure no one was in there. Got ready & left the villa straight away. I had a 3 year old & 17 year old so to say that I was beyond frightened was an understatement. We texted Amy this straight away, she replyed back at 4pm! We have emailed Caroline at Ocean Villas, & the reply back was shocking. Apparently an alleged break in!!!! Never ever again will I book through this company. We have been given no real feedback. Obviously the sliding doors are very easy to enter. It seems they take cash only. We are left traumatised, & I can’t sleep since. I will keep making people aware that you should not stay in a villa that is deemed unsafe & easily accessible from the outside! Carmel

   Have had two holidays with them the first went very well . The second not as good service, they did sort us out very professionally at the villa but not being cleaned is a definite no no, lack of communication ,did get a generous refund from the owner who was very nice and who couldn't apologize enough genuine mistake i think . Taxi not turning up was not good especially when on a late flight with a young baby if go again I would order a taxi from shuttle bus online they are very reliable . Also maid getting stroppy because we used towels from cupboard which she should have locked ,how were we supposed to know, found her quite rude probably go again as the first experience was perfect and the villa is lovely.
