The hot pot was generous in portion with fresh ingredients, and the broth was rich and fragrant without being overwhelming. The variety of meats, seafood, and vegetables made the meal feel abundant and well-balanced. Although the table felt a bit crowded, it added to the lively, convivial atmosphere, making it a great place for a long, relaxed gathering with friends.

I went to a hot pot buffet at a quiet time, and everything was amazing! The vegetables were fresh, and the meat, dumplings, and fruits were all delicious. The beef, in particular, was so tender and tasty that I felt a bit guilty for eating so much — I think I had around 40 pieces! The staff kept refilling everything, which I really appreciated. The price was very reasonable — only £20 for an all-you-can-eat hot pot buffet — and we left completely full and happy. I honestly don’t understand why there weren’t more customers. My kids loved it too and even asked to go back again. Highly recommended!

I recently visited Happy Hot Pot, and I must say, it was a super delightful experience. The diversity of food options was impressive, catering to various tastes and preferences. From fresh vegetables to a variety of meats and seafood, there was something for everyone. The service was exceptional, with attentive and friendly staff ensuring that we had everything we needed. A special shout-out to the female owner, who was particularly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. In addition to the hot pot, there were numerous snacks available that complemented the meal perfectly. Overall, Happy Hot Pot is a fantastic spot for a satisfying and enjoyable hot pot experience. Highly recommended!

Good selection of veggies and meat. The broth we had was the Tom yum and spicy base. Both were good but I preferred the Tom yum base.

It was an overall decent experience but expect near zero communication from the waiters. Side note: The pictures I have are unfortunately frames from the one video I recorded. I’d give everything here a huge yes except the language barrier for non Korean speaking people. There was no proper guide for how to navigate the restaurant down to the last detail - there was some printed paper on the table and some labels at the food stand but nothing on where to pick cutleries or what utensils you needed for this experience. Personally I think all the essentials should be on each table I.e 1 of each for plates, chopsticks for each side of the table and the dipping spoon. My guest and I kept looking at other people’s tables for cues which felt quite uncomfortable. There was no proper labelling of the dipping sauces either - for how much crowd you find in there I don’t think it helps to separate the label of the food item from the food itself. Perhaps some cultures would be familiar with the sauces but I literally had to be fixing a puzzle for what dipping sauce to go for etc. Don’t bother calling to book a table. Several attempts to do so proved futile but we walked in, waited about 20 minutes and got a table. All that hassle aside, their meats were so delicious - starter rib and the lean meats you had to cook. So so delicious. Fish was bland but I guess could have worked with a different broth or sauce. I also liked the buffet concept of it. All other hot pots I’ve been to were more fine dining. Plan to spend 2 hours just eating too because there’s a lot to try. Pretty sure my experience would be better next time now that I know my way around. Yes, I’ll go again.

I didn’t expect before I found Korean’s recent review. After I saw the review, I trust 100%. And actually when I visited here, really impressed. Super clean and well organized. Soup isn’t deep flavor but there are variety of stuffs (vegetables, seafood, noodles, and desserts). I think this restaurant is the biggest hot pot place in Edinburgh.! That’s why I give 5stars here.

Delicious hot pot - option for 2 broths and buffet style set up to get meat and veggies. Not many drink options but the food is very good. They have beef, prom, and lamb and a variety of seafood and vegetables. Also a good selection of sauces

I have been to this hot pot place twice before, only £18 per person, all you can eat buffet. The food quality and variety are so much better than other places. Spicy soup base is aromatic and not crazily spicy. Workers there are so friendly. I will definitely visit here again.
