   Robin’s Nest is not the sort of place that I would normally frequent. After walk in pleasant nearby woodland paths it appears enticingly across the main road. 5oz rump chicken fillet onions, a couple of mushroom and a salad; kindly the replacing the fries with salad at no extra charge. Waiters kindly brought some mustard and a fork to go with the steak knife. Table had tomato and HP sauce, pepper, no salt. Steak exceptionally chewy worth cutting into small pieces with the steak knife (unless you have teeth like bolt-cutters) but where else can you get steak & chicken all in for around a tenner.

   This wasn't a great meal and you could argue 3 stars is too high. The reason for the 3 stars is because it's the first time I've had a half decent steak for under £13. No idea how they even make money on that. It wasn't great by any means. The beef dripping sauce was also massively lacking in flavour. But not sure anywhere else where you can feed 2 people with drinks for just over £20 all in. For that reason I actually recommend it. Especially if you are on a budget.

   It's the first time I have been here for years. I found the decor dark and uninviting. The tables could do with a proper clean if I'm honest. The food was mediocre. 2 meals for £10. The photos will explain the quality of the food. I will not be eating here again.
