   Came here for the carvery at 7pm but the meat (pork and turkey) was a bit disappointing this time but every other time has been ok. And I was looking forward to having some plain ice cream with a chocolate flake but was informed that they don’t do flakes anymore which was also disappointing. As usual our favourite server Donna was friendly and warm and very hospitable. Always makes us laugh and feel welcome whenever we come. Thanks Donna you’re the best!

   Our experience at the Toby Carvery was amazing! Donna was extremely polite and absolutely rapid/ on the ball with her service. She ensured our needs were met very quickly and made our experience more enjoyable. The food is still as good, if not better than I remember from my childhood. Will always recommend this restaurant

   We really enjoyed our stay here. Room was cozy and had everything we needed while staying in Edinburgh. There is great bus connection to the city center and the airport. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were delicious and the atmosphere in the restaurant was magical.

   We had a great time at Toby Carvery. We were looking for a room to sleep in while visiting the city and surrounding area. The rooms are a bit small but have everything you need. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout and did everything they could to make us feel at home. The location was also great. Both the airport and the city centre are within easy reach. We never had to wait longer than 10 minutes for the next bus, which took us to the city centre in 25 minutes. We personally didn't notice any of the traffic noise mentioned in other comments. This hotel is highly recommended for people that want to explore. However, if you are looking for a hotel where you want to spend a lot of time, you might want to look for another hotel. I can definitely recommend it.

   Absolutely exquisite, really good turkey that. Very much enjoyed my Sunday roast, lots and lots of fun. I will be returning hey there! the other person at the table here. that sunday roast was sublime. I was genuinely brought to tears by the flavours that exploded on my tongue, a true burst of warmth, comfort and of course nostalgia. I too WILL be returning.

   I understand that the premises are about to go through renovation, the staff were brilliant and the offering was also plentiful, and I would/will return once this is completed. My wife and myself only criticism was that the food was warm and not hot. According to the staff we were one of the first to eat there at 9.45 am so food was only keeping warm on the hotplates.

   Made the last minute decision to come to TC Corstorphine for lunch and so glad we did, the best Toby to date particularly here given past experience hasn't always been great! Fod was amazing, Roasties we're cold, that's not untypical and the Yorkies we're almost cold (as usual) but they were actually really tasty this time. The restaurant was packed out so we were directed to sit in the bar area but two lovely ladies gave up their booth for us which was very kind given we had 3 kids with us. Great stop today

   Our greeting was fantastic as was the food and atmosphere. The staff were attentive and helpful throughout the meal. Some maintenance could be attended to (duct tape on the ceiling and a light coming away from the wall) but this didn't take away from our experience or how wonderful all of the staff are.

   We happened upon this place while on a wee walk in Corstorphine.We only popped in for a drink.The bar area was nice and spacious.The bar lady was nice and friendly.The person who greeted us at the door was also very welcoming.The prices of the alcohol were reasonable and we felt quite comfortable.The restaurant was very busy and the carvery looked good but,not our cup of tea.But I would recommend a wee look in at the bar
