   Just a terrible chippy overall, if you can't cook a sausage supper without cremating it you don't belong in front of fryer. New management same horrible overcooked food with the worse tasting oil you can find.

   New owners and what a difference! Tried a few times and has not disappointed once . Had fish suppers and sausage suppers. Chips are fresh , taste great and not greasy like some other places . Nice and dry . The batter on the fish and the sausages are to die for . Crispy and tasty and not at all greasy . All good cooked fresh to order . Cannot recommend this chip shop enough . It's a 10/10 from me

   The best fish and chips and pizza we have had in a long time! The staff were also really friendly and the service was quick, even during a busy time. New management is definitely doing a good job. We’ll definitely be back!

   Food was really good on my visits after the "under new management" sign had went up. Unfortunately it seems to have gone back to the way it was before as the fish I had last weekend (19th August between 7 - 8pm) you could have bounced it off the wall. Will have to go elsewhere again. Shame.

   Ordered special fish and pizza crunch. Pizza crunch was floppy and dripping in grease (no crunch) Special fish was covered in black bits. Called to query the fish, as to why it was covered in black bits, the woman who answered instantly took to the defensive explaining that they use ‘homemade’ breadcrumbs. I stated that never when cooking homemade breadcrumbs on haddock at home has it ever came out black. I also advised I would never order from them again, I hung up the phone as the rude, aggressive woman went into a rant. Avoid unless you enjoy your food dripping in grease and rude aggressive staff!
