Restaurant located at the Fort Retail Park. Nothing special, unfortunately. Pizza was ok. I had to add quite a bit of pepper to bring about some taste. Chips were undercooked. Price was ok for what it was. Restaurant seemed dark, and despite it being quiet when we arrived, service was slow.
First time I’ve been here, menu looked good and food and portions were very good for the price. Service could be a bit quicker, time between starters and mains was a bit longer than I have seen at other restaurants. Overall a franchise I would be happy to go out to again
It’s been years since I’ve visited a TM but I remembered it as being very good so we stopped for a quick lunch and chose from their festive menu £16.95 for two courses. Lovely waitress very polite and friendly and quickly took order. Starter Italian rice ball with turkey and mozzarella was OK but a bit dry. My wife ordered same but didn’t like them at all. Very limp and sickly lettuce leaves as the garnish. We both ordered the lasagne and it looked lovely when it arrived but mine was burnt on the bottom layer of pasta which gave the whole dish a bad flavour. Waitress was very apologetic and insisted to change, and replacement was about ten minutes and was nice enough but I’ve had better lasagne elsewhere. Coffee to finish was good. Waitress took off the 10% service charge from bill and again apologetic. Overall I wouldn’t rush back as standard of food was very generic more like pub grub than especially Italian. They should be grateful for their waiting staff as this was the only redeeming factor of our visit.
Service left a little to be desired. These complaints may seem pedantic but: We asked for 3 glasses of water and one coke. Ended up getting two coke. We opted to keep (and pay) for it as it would have been thrown out. We also asked for one of the pizzas to be sliced as my mother in law struggles a little with cutting her food. It does say on the menu that if you would like pizza sliced to ask. It did not come sliced. Her pizza was also slightly burnt around the edges. Overall the waiter was pleasant but we did get the sense we were just another set of customers; there was certainly no 'wow' factor nor did we feel like our custom was overly valued. There were 3 cubicles in the ladies toilets and two were not usuable due to a lack of cleaning.
Friendly and calm ambience. The staff were polite and prompt. The service was extremely fast. But the food wasn't great. I had really high expectations for the food. Most of the food items did not have any flavour or taste.
Perfect pre-cinema food at the Fort Tony Macaroni. The pizza/pasta combo for two is always a winner especially if you're looking to keep the price down and try a couple of items. The Amatriciana pizza was lovely with plenty of toppings and chillies and the Spaghetti and meatballs were also nice and served incredibly quickly. It was efficient and had prompt service.
First time visit and not disappointed. Lovely atmosphere, clean neat tables and waiting staff are very attentive. Place was quite busy but the wait for drinks and meals was quick. Meals were lovely, hot and fresh. Enjoyed the whole experience a d would definitely go back. Thoroughly recommend.
Very busy place,long waiting time for food,waitress and bar staff provide great service and it's best thing in this place. Chees inside my calzone wasn't mealted ,pasta was ok but nothing special. After complaining about pizza the only good thing was I don't have to pay for it. So great service form waitress and relly bad from kitchen staff. I don't think so I will come back there.
