   Place has changed. Its now called Desi Pakwan. Second location to Leith. Bit fancier now. They're not running their full menu just now..so it's abit limited..Training new staff too. Looks like its gonna be more varied than Jashans. Didn't stick about. Might try once they've found their feet.

   After being asked to order because it takes a while ( me thinking, that’s good must be freshly cooked) and kitchen closes at 2120 (even though closing days 2300!!). From ordering it took exactly 5 minutes to bring to the table, mushroom rice, cheese Nan and Lamb madras. Rice was really greasy and madras was a bit shy of lamb and it must have just been re heated, so anxious about stomach tomorrow Most expensive cheese naan I’ve ever had £5.25 and wasn’t that good either. Won’t be coming again or recommending this place at all- no wonder it’s empty

   Having happily used Jashans for 8 years I’m sorry to say that I won’t be using them in the future. There have small issues in the past (missing dips) but have continued to order despite this. I ordered a delivery at 17.25, it arrived at 18.43. Sadly my main meal was missing. When we called they told us it would be an hour before it could be delivered. That was 1 hour and 45 minutes ago from writing this review. My dinner consisted of poppadums and reheated pilau rice. It makes me sad to write this as I’ve recommended Jashans to many people. We won’t be ordering again. *edit to add* It arrived 1 hour and 50 minutes after initial phone call. It was also cold.

   I often buy from this establishment, but not any more. For the third time, my container is not full, and this time 3/4 full. How mean can you be? My order was a large one too!

   Have driven past Jashans many times. Tonight we decided to try it and ordered food to be delivered. I think we have found the BEST Indian food in Edinburgh. All three dishes had such great flavour and a perfect balance of spices. The delivery driver was very nice and polite and the food arrived exactly at the time expected. We will be back.

   Never disappointed when I eat here. Food is delicious and staff are excellent. They accommodated 11 of us for a birthday lunch with no issues. I can't wait until I have another excuse for a visit!
