   Used to be a not bad place. Its slipped big time, obviously business changing wheeling n dealing etc! As of now, quality is nothing to shout about! Edit, Nov 29th 2025, I would have liked to add this takeaway is on the rising but id be lying. Special biryani tonight, specifically ordered the dish for the lamb(Mutton) , lamb must have been substituted for chicken, i also don't recall seeing any prawns. Always good practice to try a 2nd time which has failed Lessons learned.

   Very disappointing … ordered a calzone which is not sealed around the edge and all the filling fell out. For the money charged its poor.

   First attempt at our order was 2 hours late, stone cold. The cheese had formed round the chips and it came out the box in the shape of a brick. No pitta bread with the large kebab. Called back and they sent out a second order in record time !…great we thought. I popped a bit of chicken in my mouth, it was raw. On further inspection every single piece was raw it was slimey and so raw you could pull out the white veiny bit. They had literally put it on the grill to colour it and put it in a box and sent it out. They then refused to refund us. I may have food poisoning tomorrow, perhaps that will warrant a refund.

   From about 3 months I've been ordering hire a Mix Calzone with mushrooms and onions, up until now I've been paying 15£, today 6/4/25 I paid 16.50£ for a regular Mix Calzone, as I found out the boss raised the price... if that's right the price has gone up by 3,50£. I understand that everything is getting more expensive but that's 30% up. Besides the standard Mix Calzone in other shop costs 12.5£

   Ordered a few times had a few issues but they’ve always been resolved. Tonight (16/01/25) ordered a pizza and a kebab I’ve got a ring door bell but the delivery driver decided not to use. I checked the website on just eat and it said it had been delivered. I thought to check before phoning and to my shock my pizza and kebab was on the wet floor pizza and kebab freezing cold. I called the shop to be told my door and been chapped twice no one heard a thing and my dog didn’t even stir which would be the norm if some one was chapping my door. Now I know could have microwaved this but I opened my pizza box and there was a slug in with my pizza - straight in the bin with both waste of money will not order from here again.

   One star. The curry got here quite quick. The mango korma was lacking in taste. The chicken was soft but tasteless and the sauce congealed and thick. I could hardly find onion in the bahjee, just lots of hard flour with a few bits of onion. And all for the grand price of nearly twenty quid. Never again.

   This was the first time I have ever ordered an Indian meal from Cafe Shabaz and if tonight's meal was anything to go by then I'll never order one from anywhere else! The food was fantastic and the Peshwari Nan was to die for. Thank you Cafe Shabaz!

   Terrible 3rd time I've ordered a £33 order and everytime it's been cold had to totally reheat the full delivery terrible bad quality of food kebab meat was so hard wasn't fresh no way. Don't waste ur money go else where
