Amazing tasty food. Lovely staff. Place is clean and nicely decorated. Had the lunch menu and supplemented by a dish from the tapas menu. The paneer dopiaza was amazing. Will defo come back!

This is possibly in the top 5 Indian restaurants list for us based on our world travels. It has full points for ambience, pricing, service, diversity in menu and most importantly the taste! Their dal tadka is the best from a restaurant that I have ever had. The Naan is fluffy and well cooked. The paneer was outstanding in its quality and texture. All the curries were perfectly balanced and had the right consistency. If you are a weary traveller and need dal chawal this would be the best spot. If you are a local or an adventurous traveler then this is also the best spot to try a little bit of everything! We loved it so much that we had our dinner here for both nights in Glasgow. Would recommend and would come back again!

We only had a few days in Glasgow on this trip and saw we were very close to this highly rated Indian restaurant. It was close to our place so we thought we would give it a try. It was busy but they seated us right away. The service was great, the food delicious and we enjoyed talking to the owner and staff. We order entrees the first time we went but found out they also have a tapas menu. Both times we had a fantastic meal. We really liked the tapas menu. Smaller portions that allow you to try more things on the menu. Now our favorite place to eat. Looking forward to going back next time we are in town.

Was busy so service was not as efficient as normal but overall was a good experience. Food to a high standard and portion size is what you expect of tapas menu. Busy for a Wednesday night which is a good sign. Located close to Queen Street Station and parking is available not too far away. Would recommend the fish dishes.

We recently dined in Green Gates Cafe for a special occasion and were very pleased with the food and the service. They have wide variety of dishes especially for vegetarians/vegan and can customise those as per your spice comfort level. The test was very authentic Indian. The Soya Chap, Paneer Tikka and Paneer Butter Masala, Daal Makhani were particularly delicious. The service was above and beyond, the manager was able to suggest alternate dish for main course based on our feedback for starters and the suggestion was indeed better choice than what we would have otherwise ordered.

Classy Indian Restaurant in centre of Glasgow serving authentic Indian food. Great ambiance, excellent food and smiling service add up to wonderful dining experience. We had dinner on two days and were really pleased with our request of Khichdi & Pakoda kadi served. Must visit during trip to Glasgow.

Wonderful food & decor, even better service! Well worth the visit if you’re looking for a good Indian bite β€” the tapas style makes it perfect to try a bit of everything & share (or not). Would absolutely come back!

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. Service was attentive, food was tasty and spicy. For our mains we had Chicken Korma, Chicken Tikka Masala, garlic Naan. All were beautifully flavoured with lovely fresh ingredients. Unlike many Indian meals they were not at all oily. Definitely one of the best Indian meals that I have ever tasted. The food was superb but the waiter's service also ensured that we had a really enjoyable meal. We will definitely return.

This is the best Indian Food I have had in my time abroad. Firstly, the food was super duper good. Chicken tikka and Paneer tikka were actual INDIAN dishes and not modified versions. Served with authentic tikka massala and chutney just like it is originally prepared. Kadhai Paneer, Chana Masaala were finger licking and the Garlic Cheese naan was the best naan I have had ever.(cheese and garlic could be tasted properly) The aroma of the food itself was enough to judge the taste. Secondly, the owner, Mr. Bali's hospitality is above beyond any words. He keeps an eye on every customer and ensures food is delivered on time. Third, the quantity of the food was amazing. Last but not least, the space, aesthetics and INDIAN feel was top notch. We loved each bite of our food. Also, gulab jamun with ice cream was the cherry on top!!!!!!!!!
