   I had a great experience at Carlucci, an Italian restaurant worth visiting. The tortellini and tagliatelle were delicious, and the starter was excellent. The atmosphere was very warm and welcoming. Even the woman dining alone at the table next to me, clearly enjoying her own company, added to the charm of the place. I highly recommend this restaurant!

   Last night I ordered food for one of my daughters who was visiting as a home delivery. I ordered through Dunfermline eats at 6.30 and told the food would be delivered within the hour. After an hour and I half and still no delivery I tried phoning a few times and each time it went straight to voicemail. On one messaged I asked if someone could call me back as I have medication to take (I have terminal cancer) and must be taken with food. No call back. As time was getting on I had passed my medication time. After 1.45 my daughter managed to get through on the phone and was told the delivery driver was on his way. After another half hour still no delivery so my daughter phoned again she managed to get through and explained the delivery driver still hadn’t arrived. It only takes 10 minutes to get to Cairneyhill. Was then told that they were waiting on the delivery driver returning as our food wasn’t ready when he left. We were then told 2hrs 15 minutes after placing the order that they hadn’t even started cooking our order. My daughter told the woman this is a disgrace and terrible service and we had been repeatedly lied to about the delivery. The woman said she was cancelling our order. My daughter had to then drive home past Dundee with no food after 9pm when she was tired after helping me all day. I never got my medication and have been up all night in pain. I have ordered meals twice this year for my elderly parents for Mother’s Day and Father’s Day and also when family were over from Australia. Never again. Absolutely disgusting service. If I hadn’t been in bed ill all week and would have had food in. Never use the restaurant again

   Service with a smile when we went for a birthday lunch recently. Food was top notch, prices for 4 adults, 2 starters, 4 mains and 7 drinks £133. Music was a wee tad loud, but they turned it down straight away when we asked. We weren't rushed, it started filling up just after we arrived at 2pm. We tried the garlic pizza bread, garlic mushrooms, meat lover pizzas, mushroom risotto and chicken milanese. (no sauce, flattened and breadcrumbed in case you are curious) It was delicious, comforting food and a lovely way to spend the afternoon, followed by a walk in Pittencrieff park which is on the doorstep. We were seated by the window, with a welcome radiator nearby to warm us up on a chilly day.

   Lovely Italian restaurant. Food was of very high quality, delicious, and plenty to choose from! Went here for my birthday meal with my family. The waitresses overheard it was my birthday and personalised my desert, with a birthday candle, and played happy birthday over the speakers - which was a wonderful surprise! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great place to eat, or just visiting Dunfermline, with high quality food across the menu. The pasta dish, and red velvet cake I had, were the best I’ve had all year!

   Stopped in on a Saturday evening after spending the afternoon in the area. Hadn't made a reservation as we weren't sure of our plans but managed to get a table. The staff were really friendly and the food delicious. The bread was amazing, some of the best I've had in a restaurant, really soft and fluffy and the mains delicious. Would highly recommend and hopefully visit again if in the area.

   We had our lunch at Carlucci during a day trip to Dunfermline. A Pre-theatre menu was available and it only costed £25 for 3 courses. The starters and mains we had were surprisingly good. Loved both the starters - the mussels in a tasty white wine sauce were fresh and juicy, while the fried calamari got crispy batter and the squid rings were still tender in texture. And we ordered pasta for both the mains. The spaghetti carbonara was done well, the sauce was silky and creamy enough while the spaghetti was firm and slightly chewy. And the lasagna was really cheesy and flavourful with the tomato sauce. The tiramisu were less impressive though, it was decent but we had tried better ones around Scotland. Good wine and the waitresses were super friendly.

   The food was good, the service was even better, it was all priced right, what more to ask for. The restaurant has a very chill atmosphere. There seems to be a decent number of vegetarian options on the menu. I received complimentary bread sticks while I was waiting for my main. I would definitely go back there, thanks!

   Great food and great service! I booked a large table for my wife's birthday and they went above and beyond to help me make it special for her. They went and got banners and balloons for me as I didn't have time on the day of her booking and when we were there, they put us in a nice spot away from rest of restaurant which made it feel more private. We received some beautiful complimentary bread while we waited for starters. I will definitely be back as I'm very happy with everything! Highly recommended!

   Probably the best Italian restaurant I have ever been. First, the service was the best one I had in a very long time! The 3 waitress are fantastic :) Second, the food is sooo good, I can't recommend it enough And third and one of the most important factors for me is the amazing and huge vegan menu this restaurant has... I will be back, thank you so much Maria and the rest of the girls in the restaurant, you guys are great ❤️
