Went for birthday pregig meal as a party of 5. Food was excellent and as we ordered main course specials the price was unknown until the bill came (unitemised). Worked out on average £37 per main. Just a heads up to watch when ordering specials. Lesson learned but would definitely go back.

I took my parents for a meal on Saturday evening. It was a last minute decision but I called on Friday and they managed to squeeze us in during a very busy evening. Food was lovely we ordered 2 fish dishes and a chicken dish. All very fresh. The sauté potatoes were so tasty! The best thing about the restaurant is the staff. They went over and above, very attentive, checking in with us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. It was a really hot night so I asked for an iced coffee, it wasn’t on the menu but one of the staff knew how to make it so it was no problem. My Mum wanted a decaf affogatto, this wasn’t on the menu either but they whipped one up for her! Thank you so much for a lovely evening! 10/10!

Booked for early lunch (2pm) as fully booked for later in the day, staff very friendly and accommodating, food was first class (tiger prawns with spaghetti, haddock with tiger prawns) only minor issue was limited wine by the glass but can understand why restaurant's do it. Reasonably priced for quality of food and service, will definitely return but book in advance.

The service throughout was faultless. Absolutely excellent. The quality of food was good and the restaurant had a great atmosphere. The only fault, if you could call it one, is the specials aren’t on a board so you have your host telling you them verbally which means they are easily forgotten. Perhaps printing a menu or using a board would help with that as I noticed others within my area had an issue remembering as well. Another ‘negative’ was the price point. As I said, it was good food but you can get the same dishes to a similar quality for 1/3 of the price. All in all it was a good experience. Just be prepared to dip your hand into your pockets!

The food was really tasty and felt very authentic. The staff were really lovely and attentive. The only reason it lost a star was that I felt it was a bit of a high price point even for a nice Italian.

Very friendly staff. Gluten free options. They separate large groups from individual tables which is great for both. But most importantly the food was amazing. We will be back. We didn’t have children with us but I think that they will be child friendly.

Il vero sapore di Italia. I’m so surprised by this little Italian venue. It’s charming, cosy and soooo blissful. Thank you team, Catarina such a great host. The chef Arturo soooo friendly and made my dish taste like at home in Italy. This Capri family will make you feel in the Mediterranean for sure. I’ve asked them to do our Calabrese way and they certainly delivered what I’ve asked for. DO NOT HAVE CARBONARA WITH CREAM. It’s a SIN for us. I’m passionate about this resto, thank you so much for having me, I do get why regulars become regulars. Here I am :-) a new bee. See you again soon!!! Lady BBellie the Captain!
