Excellent boat trip from Little Venice to Camden on Regent's Canal. Go in this direction, as the commentary by an evident "local" is well worth hearing. Camden is a great destination too.
Wonderful experience and narration as you glide along the Grand Union canal from Little Venice (walkable from Paddington) to Camden Locks aboard a beautiful old narrowboat made perfect for touring. A great day!
Enjoy a fabulous adventure on the Jason 110 year old long boat from Little Venice to Camden market or back if you wish. You will be told the story of the canal, its long boats pulled by the horses. You will sail slowly, listening to the sound of water and nature passing on the back of the stunning villas of Regent’s canal, the London zoo to the buzzing Camden market.
Had such a great day with Jason's canal boat trips. When we arrived the trip to Camden was unavailable. Due to a recent fire the canal was closed, so a round trip to Portebello area was offered. The trip was very interesting, full of canal history. When we returned to Little Venice, the canal to Camden had reopened and we were offered to continue the trip. Again excellent commentary and a lovely relaxing time spent on the canals. Would recommend the trip.
Located on the canal in Little Venice. I definitely suggest to pre-book as on a sunny and warm day you might not find a space to get on board. Polite, helpful and very knowledgeable guide tells many interesting facts as the boat moves along the canal. It is hard to believe you're in the heart of London. The peace, quiet and the wildlife almost like in the nature reserve and not middle of a massive city. Cash or card payments accepted. It's such a beautiful and pleasant experience and definitely must when in London and weather allows.
This 45 minute canal boat cruise from Little Venice to Camden may be one of London's greatest sightseeing bargains and simplest pleasures. It is a thrill to be on the water. Kudos to the cheerful, gracious crew and the just-right journey commentary.
I enjoyed a fantastic trip from Little Venice to Camden on Jason's Trip. Our guides were so knowledgeable and entertaining and the canal ride was peaceful and serene. The narrowboat was comfortable and booking my reservation was so easy and quick. I then enjoyed exploring Camden market and walked back to Little Venice along the towpath. I highly recommend Jason's Trip and huge thanks to the whole staff for an amazing tour.
This was lovely. We took the guided ride to Camden, and it was so much better than I expected. The guide was fun and informative, the ride was very comfortable, and it’s a great way to arrive for lunch at the market. Maybe the biggest pleasant surprise of or vacation.
Really lovely boat trip. Booking needs to be done in advance about 3 days before your trip, but I was able to book on the day by turning up. Super cheap, I got a return ticket so it's 2x45mins up and down the canal between little Venice and Camden, with gorgeous history story telling. Definitely a must do
