We recently had a great meal here with friends. It was a busy Saturday night and they had a huge table (20 ish) at the same time as us so we waited a little while to order but once we ordered our food came quickly and was all lovely and hot and freshly prepared. One of the best curries out we have had for a long time. The chicken tikka pieces in all the curries were the most tender we have had. It’s bring your own too so a nice good value night out! Fully recommended!
Had a meal here with my wife yesterday. The food was nothing short of excellent. It’s fair to say that I have not had a curry that good in a very long time. We went around 17:45 so the place was empty except for quite a few people collecting takeaways. A few people came in to eat around 18:45. There are a couple of things which could be improved though. The place is a bit “dull”. It’s clean but could do with a bit more decorative “life”. Also we were not asked if we would like a drink ( no alcohol on the menu, but we don’t drink anyway) when we sat down which would be normal in any restaurant in my view. The staff are pleasant, but low key. It is minimally staffed so nothing happens quickly. Finally, it isn’t that easy to spot from the road. We passed it twice until my wife pointed it out back from the road. They could do with a prominent sign. All that said, go for the food. In my opinion you won’t get better.
The best take away in the area. I love this place, the service is always quick, it's reasonably priced and very tasty! Highly recommended.
Differential pricing policy and do not give the collection discounts stated on their menus. Standards have definitely slipped.
The worst takeaway I’ve had since moving here 3 years ago. 2 hours late. Chicken tikka masala flavourless and powdery. Samosas taste like school dinner mince. They do amazing poppadoms though. Wont be ordering from here again.
Best curry ever, wouldn't go anywhere else. Authentic as I love a Masalla and it's the only place that doesn't throw a load of red food colouring in to make it look toxic lol highly recommended.
Well what a gem of a place. Don't be put off by external appearances. The onion barges and the chicken biryani possibly the best I have had in a long time.
