   Meal arrived on time but was cold. We ordered chicken fried rice which was so greasy it must have floated in the pan when cooked. The onions in the curry were huge & looked like it was an onion quartered. Definitely won’t be using them again.

   I ordered through just eat, very disappointed, for a start I placed my order at 18.15 to be delivered at 19.15, lots of time to prepare and deliver on time. Food arrived at 19.45 and it was the wrong order. I wanted chicken skewers as an appetiser and beef chow mein. I got mixed chow mein with prawns and a spicy beef thing, not sure what it was. Well I’m allergic to prawns so thanks for messing up my order that I can’t return and I didn’t really want spicy food as I’m pregnant. Overall the worst takeaway I’ve ordered... ever. What a scam

   Arrived 5 minutes after the time we were told (9.20-9.40pm), food felt nice and hot but tasted very bland, the spring roll was dripping in grease and was inedible! Such a shame as I ignored the other reviews and just wanted to try for myself!

   I had my first takeaway from Yummy House yesterday. I ordered Sesame Prawn on Toast and King Prawn Chow Mein. Though the delivery and service was great and the delivery arrived 30 min before expected time, I was hugely disappointed to see almost burnt and extremely oily Prawn Toast. The Chowmein was just alright and had a decent portion. I was not hugely impressed but it was an alright experience. (3 starts in March 2019) Edit: I am decreasing the rating to 2 star (May 2019) because of my severely bad experience the next time with Yummy house. The food was delivered almost an hour later than the expected time of delivery. They did not send any apology or information regarding delayed delivery. They were unresponsive to Just Eat too who were trying to know an update for my order. On top of that the food was below average for the amount of money spent and the wait caused. Will not choose this place next time.

   Been visiting here for 20+ years for a generally consistent standard of good Cantonese fare, with a more recent addition of less authentic Thai. Great value. The change of ownership has degraded some of the produce quality – in particular ‘seafood’ which no longer comprises of plump green lipped mussels, king prawns and calamari rings (unless specified) but now a primarily minced alternative instead. Still tasty but nowhere near the previous quality or texture of the whole mollusc! Recommend set menus and excellent value Chinese curries. No dishes leap off the menu as spectacular any more, nevertheless despite recent variances, still one of my favourite 'Chinese Takeaways'. Friendly staff and great delivery drivers. If you like Cantonese you won't be disappointed.
