   Found this place while working away. Food was delicious and not your typical Indian restaurant style food. I had the Onion Bahji, Lamb Seekh Kebab and an Aubergine dish - all excellent. A little on the pricey side but that's reflected in the quality.

   We had an absolutely wonderful experience! The restaurant kindly opened just for us even though they’re usually closed on Tuesdays, which was such a generous gesture. Everything was perfectly organised — all our pre-ordered dishes arrived exactly as requested, and not a single thing was missed. Even our last-minute additions were handled smoothly and with a smile. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully prepared, and full of flavour. We truly appreciate the effort and hospitality shown by the entire team. Highly recommend — we couldn’t have asked for a better meal or experience!

   What a lovely surprise this turned out to be. I am quite fussy and find many Indian restaurants serve the same old dishes, most of which taste like each other. This one is not one of them. The food is obviously made from scratch and tasted delicious. You could taste the spices and each plate was more delicious then the other. The owner was front of house and was super helpful when we asked about anything, making us feel really welcome. I cannot recommend this enough!

   We ordered a large takeaway this evening and the food was fabulous and the service was quick. They double checked our order to make we had everything (we had orders A LOT) The food seems much more authentic and much better quality than your average Indian. Definitely the best Indian in Thornbury.

   A friend and I ate there yesterday evening. The décor is a little different from the many stereotypical Indian restaurants which some might read as a negative. The food however was wonderful as was the service. The food was well presented, in a slightly classier style than is the norm. Although I'm not a foodie I was very impressed by the flavours of our dishes. The menu is not massive but what they do, they do well. We got to meet the chef/owner who understandably took great pride in his food. Will definitely be back.
