Went to the pub/bar section. Friendly atmosphere with booths, a table for large groups, as well as tables for 2 to 4. Great old-world feel with a wood burning fire, wooden beams, etc. A bit noisy when busy. Family-friendly, including both kids and dogs. Staff is as attentive as is humanly possible when it gets super, super busy. Very, very friendly.

Always a wee blessing to visit this place Rather apt seeing as it used to be a Church. One of the finest West End institutions

Enjoy a lunch here yesterday with friends. I had fish n chips, which was ok, fish batter was a bit greasy. Friends had steak frites and chicken schnitzel both really enjoyed theirs. Lots of cocktails which were great and service was good

Our wedding at Cottiers was just, put simply, a DREAM. I fell in love with this venue long before I was even engaged! I just knew it was where we would be having our wedding reception; thankfully, my now husband, agreed! We were blown away when we visited the venue initially. Once all of our decor etc had come together on the day (thanks to our wonderful suppliers and Team Cottiers) we walked into the hall for 'first looks': we were absolutely besotted. Not only is this venue visually stunning and provides the most perfect atmosphere for a wedding, the food was TO DIE FOR. 'Best food I've had at a wedding' is what we've heard on repeat for the last seven weeks now! Lastly, but by no means least - Eve and Erin, our coordinators, were nothing short of phenomenal. They had the patience of saints when it came to my constant stream of questions and emails -for the best part of a year. The girls kept me calm throughout and nothing was too much for them. What a credit they are to this establishment! Both girls are responsible for what we knew would be the most amazingly beautiful day

Idyllic church setting. I loved all the real candles and fairy lights. Three beaver town options on draught and a very cosy relaxed atmosphere for such a big space. Outdoor seating for summer and friendly bar person. A nice place to take family or a partner

WEDDING VENUE search? Cottiers is a great choice. Beautiful converted church with a laid back, west end feel and nicely lit chic interior. My band The Jiggers plays ceilidhs for weddings here on a regular basis and the staff look after you really well. Really worth checking it out for a good wedding venue in Glasgow. *UPDATE* been back several times, and I'd add that every single time the staff have been great.

Incredible food! The best meal I've had in a long time - we got haggis scotch egg, cod and sticky fig and date sponge. Even the ice cream was out of this world, every dish was amazing and the servers were lovely too. I managed to get a reservation on Friday night at 6pm for 7pm. Phenomenal.
