   Nothing golden about these tours. While some offerings are very interesting such as Windsor Castle, others are either not worthwhile or of the lowest quality. We were given a tour credit through the travel agency we booked our vacation on which was convenient because I would not pay out of pocket for any of these experiences. The hop on-hop off bus is very difficult to catch, as the buses only come every 20-30 minutes and the traffic in London is so congested you’re honestly better off taking the tube, as it is quicker and cheaper. You’ll waste more time waiting for the bus and being in traffic. The afternoon tea bus might look cute in pictures, but the food was abysmal. The food tasted like you bought it from the back of a gas station convenience store. Service staff was friendly on the tour buses. Keyword: tour buses. When we were getting our hotel-airport transfers, both drivers demonstrated quite unprofessional attitude. We will not be booking with this service ever again.

   Had the least amount of hop on hop off buses of all the tourist buses which is noticable when several buses from other companies keep passing by as you wait for yours. One of the stops on the app was closed but not taken off the map so my family and I had to walk to another stop to catch a bus when the stop simply could have been marked as closed on the app, instead we had to figure that out after waiting and watching buses on the app not taking the turn to go to the stop. The reason this isn't one star is thanks to our tour guide to stonehendge and bath but the hop on hop off in London is not worth it.

   We took the Cambridge and an Oxford tour with Dan as our guide. She was very organized, knowledgeable, informative and helpful. We were booked at the last minute when our previous small group tour cancelled. It was a big comfortable bus with an excellent driver, but having such a large group was unwieldy in small narrow streets. I would have loved to have Dan guide us with about 10-12 people.

   Absolutely phenomenal service from start to finish! All stops are so easy to get to. The app is brilliant too! Firstly, we were greeted just across the road from Kings Cross. Given a map & earphones when we got on the bus and offered numerous drinks. Every single bus driver/guide/helper was fantastic and so helpful. The tours are fantastic covering everything you need to see! One guy who really went above and beyond for us was Ashley. We noticed after getting off the bus that our little girl had left her bag on the bus! We only had a day in London so panicked. Ashley re assured us that we would get it back. He took my number and specific details of the bag. He regularly updated us on the bag & managed to trace it! Ashley was going to take it to the information centre when he realised we wouldn't make it in time for closing so he got on the tube and met us! We were and so thankful! Honestly, without Ashley our day in London would have been horrendous with a very sad daughter! I 100% recommend Golden Bus Tours. Great value for money! & Ashley, thankyou again you literally saved the day! Photo of the legend!

   We have done the tour to Windsor, Bath and Stonehenge with the guide Ana is the best, super friendly and provides a lot of super useful information, and Richard the driver is also a very good driver, very well prepared to share interesting tourist tips, I definitely recommend doing the tour with Ana and Richard.
