Worst experience with this takeaway. The food was bland, undercooked and I ended up with diarrhoea the next day. The owner is arrogant and doesn’t accept liability. Quick to argue with customers. Avoid this place at all costs!!!
Dreadful customer service. No one answered the phone when I tried to find out where our food was, 50 minutes after it was supposed to be delivered. When I finally got through I was told that they were just starting to cooking it. No Apology, it was take it or leave it attitude. Never again!!!!!
Good value yummy food, good portion, friendly staff. What's not to like?
Ordered a delivery at 1715 and told approx 45 mins to one hour delivery max. Phoned multiple times ( after the hour) to be told it’s made and on its way. At 1935 hrs, delivery driver arrived and stated that food had just been made. Food not that great either, cold rice and chips, greasy chicken chow mein( with little to no chicken) and well overcooked chicken balls . Won’t be ordering from there again.
Ordered takeaway 12/9/25. Order was wrong. Not sure if owner changed recently because food has gone from fabulous to MUCK ! see photos, soooooo bad. Do not buy ! go somewhere else. Tried ringing but got nowhere?!!!
One of the best chinese food we have ever had...delicious Good portions,delivered piping hot. A wait for delivery but warned and totally worth it,even phoned up to thank them!thankyou for a brilliant meal!!

Absolutely shocking customer service. The woman was terrible, I ordered salt and pepper chicken with chips over the phone for collection only to receive just the chicken, when I went back to explain she gave me awful attitude and was saying it was me who made a mistake. She then proceeded to charge me extra for the chips without any type of apology. I will not be returning, such a same as I don’t come here often but I remembered the previous owners taking pride in his customer service. AVOID
Great food. Very tasty. Just visiting the area for work and fancied a Chinese. Service was super quick at less than 10 mins. Had curry, fried rice and bbq spare ribs. All very still hot after the 5 min walk back and the food tasted great. Curry was hot, rice was great, and the ribs were amongst the best I have had. The meat simply fell off the bone. If I lived near here I would definitely use this place regularly.
This place is phenomenal. I ordered Singapore fried rice, extra hot and Kung-Po Beef recently and they were generous portions, delivered quickly, reasonably priced, great staff and amazing chefs. But I've ordered almost 3/4 of the items on this menu and I have never once been let down, only this time it was perfect. In nearly 50 years I've had Chinese food all over the world and for a tiny little takeaway place in a small town I can honestly say it is the best Chinese food that I have had outside of China. Simply superlative and utterly delicious. Thank you Yung Kee, keep up the great work and I will see you again soon.
