The best Chinese takeaway in Keynsham. Food and service was amazing and to top it all off....a 5 star hygiene rating. Would 100% recommend
We’ve ordered a takeaway from Golden City numerous times over the past year or two, all to be delivered locally - the food has always been good but once again tonight, our takeaway is late. No matter what time we’ve requested delivery, it’s arrived over an hour late on the last few occasions. Tonight we’ve had to chase up our 7.15pm delivery and apparently it’s due to arrive nearer 9pm. Not good enough. If they can’t cope with demand, they shouldn’t accept so many orders. I’m not sure we’ll use them again unfortunately.
Top little Chinese, can be ordered via app just look up golden city in the app store. Kung po lovely. Only thing special offer not really worth it .
One of the best Chinese takeaways I have ever had in the UK. We don’t live in Keynsham anymore but still make the effort to travel down just for this takeaway. The food has so much flavour and is always made fresh. The chicken is always super tender, the vegetables are always well seasoned and the rice is well balanced. Beats M&S/Waitrose Chinese takeaway any day! Reminds me of what Chinese food tastes like back home in Canada.

We've never ordered from here before but after reading the reviews we decided too. I ordered the special offer of two small starters and a main - (spring rolls, BBQ Ribs and beef curry with egg fried rice) for the price of it, seemed ideal for one person. However when it arrived I had 2 very tiny gristley ribs, the egg fried rice looked and taste odd and the beef curry, I had about 6 small bits of beef with a very tiny bit of curry sauce. My Sons sausage and chips were not cooked, the chips were raw and the sausages did not taste right. So for that reason I couldn't eat mine and neither did my Son, did try and call but as we ordered rather late no one answered. The parts that we did try and eat we both had upset tummy the following morning. I don't even want a refund, just making people aware that our experience with this Chinese was awful.
