We were lucky to have Taku as our private guide in Osaka. He was so knowledgeable and friendly, he showed us places that we would never have known about. Although we changed our plans a couple of times before our tour it was no bother to Taku to change the plans to suit. If you have the opportunity for a private guide I highly recommend Taku, he’s the best.

We very much enjoyed our tour with Antonio. This was put first tour on a two week trip to Portugal so we were very much ready for the hills and the walking. Antonio knows the city very well and did an amazing job letting us customize the tour for the things we wanted to see without crisscrossing the city all afternoon. We saw many statues, beautiful buildings and miradouro's across the city. We were able to visit all of our top spots including the chapel of souls, Se do Porto, Sao Bento Station and views of Porto and Gaia. Antonio was very knowledgeable about not only the sites but also the culture, the history and what daily life is like in Portugal. Thank you so much Antonio! We highly recommend this tour.

Had a fantastic tour with Kenya back in January exploring many of Kyoto's beautiful sights. One of my favourite parts was visiting the Sake distilleries in the south- they were super interesting but also the surrounding area was virtually free of tourists and felt like a more authentically Japanese area. Very knowledgeable, friendly and especially helpful with taking photos and videos since I was a lone traveller! ありがとうございました!

We have the best tour guides all over Japan. They were all very friendly and all fabulous. Rei in Himeji was exceptional. Helpful. Planned and booked a fantastic lunch and had extra little videos to show us at assorted locations. She was perfection. She arranged our tour such that we would get to each of the different locations with less crowds, and in the least hot part of the day. She took us to locations that other people might’ve bypassed. Marie in Tokyo was SO COOL! She was knowledgeable and friendly and amazing! She had a lot of knowledge about the city and really got along with my daughter when they realize they shared an interest in the same music. We Have a great time with her. Eugene, and Kyoto was wonderful. We opted for the night tour, so even though a lot of the shrines were closed, we got to see them just not enter them, which was OK because we didn’t need to enter every single shrine in Kyoto. He told us all about Guyon and the history and the architecture And what they do to the cedar on the buildings. He told us the history of the place he told us some pop culture about the place. And he took us to an incredible Ramen place. He also took us in and around the different areas where there were less crowds, but more beauties than We even expected. In Osaka,, Kanna Took us on a food tour that was exceptional. She also managed to get us a tea room excursion after our event because a friend she had in town. Everything we tried to book was sold out, and she made one phone call and we were in by 4:30. she was incredibly funny, very helpful and oh my gosh, the food in Osaka! I can’t even. Our final Tori, Nora, with the peaceful, playful deer, ha ha, was really wonderful. Our tour guide, Eugene was fantastic. He took us first, up to the top of the building so we can see the whole city. He then took us in and around and through all of the most important parts of Nora. And he was wonderful to talk to you. Thank you so much for your incredible staff and all of your incredible tours.

José took us to (more than) an 8 hour walking tour around Kyoto and it was just wonderful! We had great time with him, he was knowledgeable, interesting and funny. He took us to places we didn't mean to visit and we are happy about that!! Super recommended!!

This tour was great! Marisol was an extra bonus, she made it possible to see all the sites we wanted to see and had great recommendations. She also provided so much insight to all the sites and was a wealth of information. I highly recommend this tour with Marisol!

I could not have asked for a better introduction to Mexico City than Marisol’s hosted experience. She took the time to understand what I was interested in and tailored the day accordingly. I loved that she showed me a slice of the real Mexico, always ensuring I was comfortable and safe. Her knowledge of the history and architecture of Mexico City was very impressive, and her love and passion for her hometown shone through. The highlight of the day was when she arranged for a mariachi band to serenade me on my 50th birthday! It is a memory I will keep with me always! Marisol is a wonderful human and I really enjoyed spending time with her. I hope to catch her again in Australia, where I can play host!

Being my first visit to Seoul (and South Korea in general), I decided to book a day-long one-on-one personalized tour of what the city has to offer. Oki from City Unscripted was my tour guide and we hit it off immediately! :) She was extremely knowledgeable about the attractions that we visited as well as the city’s history, and really knew her way around town. A few days prior to our meetup, Oki gave me some recommendations based on my feedback on what I wanted to do on our tour (places, food, etc.) and how I wanted to go about it (walking, subway, etc.), so by the time we met for the tour she had a great plan set up while still providing options for flexibility. We started the tour at my hotel, and proceeded to walk around town. Places we visited included Seoul City Hall, Gyeongbokgung Palace (where I toured in rented traditional Hanbok clothing), the Blue House (residence of past presidents), and Gwangjang Market. We ate some amazing Korean barbeque (that we cooked ourselves) at the market, where Oki gave me some helpful tips on how to eat barbecue like a local (which I eventually got the hang of). During the tour Oki also gave me a ton of recommendations on other places to visit while in Seoul (such as Bukchon Hanok Village, which I toured the day after and is awesome by the way), authentic Korean snacks (such as Hotteok, a sweet pancake filled with a sweet delicious syrup), and gift/clothing ideas (such as hats, fridge magnets, bracelets, and artwork). I also learned a couple new Korean words (such as “sugohaseyo”) and customs/habits to kind of help immerse myself in the Korean culture and environment (it seemed to work). I took a ton of pictures, and Oki helped out with taking pictures of me as well. We also took a couple of the obligatory selfies lol! My only critique is that I wish we had more time to tour the city (the time went by so fast, but that happens when you’re having too much fun), but I’ll just have to book another tour when I return to Seoul. I would definitely pick Oki to take me on another tour. Thanks Oki, hope to see you next time! :)

I had an amazing time/private tour with Marisol during my stay in Mexico City. It was important for me to book our tour on my first day there so as to learn about the history and culture as well as pick up a few tips from a local on how to get around and get the most of my time there. I loved how I was able to tailor my tour and request that we focus on architecture, history, and culture. Marisol was extremely knowledgeable when showing me around the historic center. I learned so many new things about the Mexican culture—lots of things you probably wouldn’t pick up on your own or from generic travel guides. We even made time to taste authentic horchata and churros! We went at a good pace and covered everything and more in the few hours we were together that afternoon. I highly recommend Marisol! Thanks to her I had the best time in Mexico City!
