I visited Watan Grill (previously known as Khyber Pass) while I was in Glasgow, and honestly, it was one of the best meals Iβve had in a long time. The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavour, freshly cooked, and tasted just like proper home-style Afghan and Peshawari dishes. The staff were so friendly and respectful, they really made me feel welcome. You can tell the new owners and management are doing a great job, the atmosphere was lovely, and the service was spot on. Prices were really reasonable too, especially considering the quality of the food. Itβs great value compared to a lot of other places. I donβt live in Glasgow, but if I ever come back, Iβll definitely be eating here again. Highly recommend giving it a try if youβre in the area β you wonβt be disappointed

We ordered Peshawri chicken karahi, kabuli Pilau and chapali kabab and itβs hard to tell which is more delicious. Mouth watering, yummy food. I will highly recommend this restaurant. We tried many restaurants during holidays in Glasgow but its taste is authentic.

Our first time at this restaurant after seeing friends post their photos. Friendly staff. Great food and lots of choice. Masala Fish with rice is top notch!! We couldn't finish all our food as they were big portions. Hamed, the boss, very friendly and helpful in explaining the menu to us. We will be back!

I recently visited Khyber Pass Restaurant in Glasgow and was thoroughly impressed. The owner, Qudratullah, provides outstanding service, and the Asian cuisine is exceptional. The atmosphere is welcoming, and they offer great disabled accessibility. Highly recommend!

The place was dead like zombies seriously very dull atmosphere, Food was just ok not great great you can say WOW as compare to London Pathans restaurants . First of all this is running as a concept of Pathan restaurant as you can see name is Khayber. 2nd if people are complaining about some dishes like payee, biryani well these dishes are not belong to the Pathanβs or Afghanis cooking, its like someone is asking about Veitnami food in Pakistani restaurant like cheese and chalk. If you want to go at pathan restaurant then try out their speciality sush as charsi karhai, chapli kabab, fry daal, grill fish, brain masala, charsi tikka, mix grill pathan use lots of fats in their meat etc. There was no concept of serving qahwa chai which is a tradition in pathan restaurants, usually they cook from raw meat while you are waiting to get serve on table, this is how you measure the freshness of food, not pre cooked in containers and stir in frying pan and serve. This restaurant has just a pathan name but it is millions miles away from actual pathan restaurants infact no Pathan there. Sorry i forgot to add one more thing they are too tight with electricity while they cook never turn on exhaust fan after half an hour sitting smoke literally starts to sting ur eyes and clothes gets full of food Smell, it looks like you done a 10 hrs shift there.

It is the last time that we enter this Resteraunt, we are so disappointed, the food today was not fresh at all, you have seen it and unfortunately much worse also tasted. The cheese had mold, after we had informed the waiter, he was only said that he asked the kitchen and it is not the cheese and he didnβt say anything more. The order was wrong and 2 things were forgotten, but the waiter said we four have allegedly not said so he has not written it down so. No apology or sympathy!!! So unfriendly never again!!! I donβt recommend

Tried paye + chanay + qulche + lassi as dine in breakfast. Taste, quality and quantity were awesome. Took away halwa poori which was delicious too. Very spacious space for dine in. Parking available on the road. Overall good desi+Pakistani experience.

Had a portion of Chapli Kebab for takeaway. The portion size alongwith the 2 naans was great value for money. The taste was awesome. I had it at home with Daal.

I'm not sure why these all good reviews but if you have even eaten or been to Afghani/Pakistani restaurant.. this is MacDonald of it.. the food is microwave heated the dish of biryani is the worse I've ever seen very small like a soup bowl and only include chicken bones. Salad looks like it from last year and 4 piece of chicken cubes is 6.5Β£ totally over prices and the quality is terrible.. I believe this place will run out of business very soon and I highly don't recommend you going there if you're looking for a proper food
