Ordered from here through Uber eats was the first time but this time I ordered 3x curry goat what I received was curry chicken, I rang the shop multiple times in an hour and no one picked up, when they finally did the phone got hung up as soon as I said the order was wrong. Wasted my money couldn't even get a refund...
cheap quality bland microwaved food! Dumplings were rock solid, couldn't even bend it?! the jerk chicken was just rubber and the rice and peas were inedible. it's insulting that you think it's okay to serve this and be an hour late. anyone that actually enjoys this clearly hasnt even experienced REAL authentic Caribbean food. I'm so repulsed and taken back by this.
I had ordered a large curried goat and rice & peas to take away I was hugely disappointed when I had opened the container to see what I had gotten, there was plenty of bones and no curried goat it was only just bones, this was a really huge mistake and really big shame to see that they are serving poor standards of Caribbean food the shop needs to be completely closed down for good. These shop owners are very bearfaced day time and night time rubbers and thief's and you are being ripped off from your money's worth to serve you poor quality food. The food had cost £10 for a large portion but it was really worth £3.00 They don't know how to really cook real Jamaican yardy food plus it was very tasteless with no taste at all and for a large portion they don't put hardly any rice & peas you can count the rice and peas they give you plus the curried goat is badly watered down without no taste the name of the shop should be called tasteless without any shame.
Looks like a dogs dinner and not something I would even want to give to my dog. Even my dog turned his nose up and didn't pester me for this pile of rubbish. Overpriced, inedible, a lot of bones, not much meat and not worth the money.
Portions are stingy, if your gonna serve portions at this price for as little as possible meat then it has to be the best. Unfortunately this does not meet this requirement. Poor quality. Poor taste. Disappointed. If you can travel mama peas or rice and things would be better money spent.
Worst Caribbean food I have ever eaten. I have eaten Caribbean food all my life and tried this one and the jerk chicken was inedible as it was so overpowered with the taste of ginger that is all you could taste and all the other spice and bbq flavours were lost ! Don’t waste your money as pricey upto other Caribbean takeaways in bristol
I used one of the eating apps for the first time. I really fancied a good goat dish. When the menu says Small I mean VERY SMALL. Very little goat and plenty of bones VERY DISAPPOINTED. The plus side it did taste great just wish I had more to enjoy.
Absolutely appalling. We ordered 5 meals and all were cold even though they said they had microwaved them. Parts of the order were missing. Didn’t really appreciate a southern fried soggy drumstick in a brown stew chicken. We’ve ordered from here before and the food was cold so we thought we would give them a second chance. Sorry to say we won’t be returning.
Had the small curry goat, callaloo, rice and peas. Soft, tasty meat, good portion size, friendly staff.
