We found this one completely by chance, and boy, what a wonderful mistake that was! Amazing food, lovely staff and atmosphere. Strongly recommend!

I had a delicious meal at Grano, the team are very friendly and the restaurant is nicely decorated not too fussy. My only reasons for removing a star was although the ravioli filling was spot on, the sage butter wasn’t excessive or greasy but the actual pasta was overcooked and it would’ve been nice to have more than one sage leave and there was too much dressing on the salad. The salad was tasty but I like the flavours of radicchio and rocket, the leaves were drenched in the dressing, making them soggy and not crisp. I must say the arancini balls were excellent and the accompanying sauce was very yummy. I’m looking forward to dining again at Grano, there was an excellent wine list and a good beer selection too, the Arbor lager was excellent.

As all the other reviews state, this is a must visit! Everything about this place was excellent! Food? 10/10! Couldn’t have been more fresh! You can literally see the chef making your dish while you sit down. Service? Again! 10/10! Staff were extremely helpful and knew the menu really well. This meant they can help you with recommendations. Pricing? Excellent! The one place you can eat a proper nice meal without breaking your bank account. Will definitely be visiting again! Visit #2 (13/01/2024) Of course we visited again. We had an amazing time! The food was once again amazing! We loved the, Pickled Courgette and all of our mains; Lasagne, Pesto Pasta and Beef Stew! Can’t wait for visit #3!

Authentic Italian dining in the heart of Bristol. Managed to book a table for 6 quite easily, ingredients quality is top notch, and dishes are all very tasty. My favorite is their lasagna and vitello tonnato. Service is also very nice. All the best for Grano team!

Had had food from these guys previously but they only recently took on the whole place to themselves . Had Bagna Cauda to start, rich sauce over roasted peppers, really creamy oily texture, delish. Then lasagne with salad which was excellent , not a thin runny sauce lasagne , really good layers of rich flavoured meat and pasta with an interesting side salad of leaves seeds and diced peppers. Pistachio espresso to finish , sweet and bitter combo , nice !

Luckily got a table after a comedy night at the Wardrobe Theatre - food was absolutely gorgeous. Simple straightforward menu including handmade pasta and gnocchi (best I’ve ever had). Nice atmosphere, good service and great value too.

Very decent italian. I really enjoyed it, but I have also had better versions of the dishes. Service was a bit slow and lacked awareness of timings. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed.

Great to see this back in Old Market! Delicious food. Menu is short (just three dishes on mains) but so delicious. Amazing lasagne and gnocchi. And AMAZING desserts. We will be back!
