   This was my first visit to Slim Chickens and it should be called slim pickings. I ordered 6 chicken tenders, chips and a chocolate milkshake (for an extra £3!) Coming to a total of £15.75. I know it says everything is cooked fresh but the place wasn't busy and it took 30mins to have my food prepared. The milkshake was quite nice, about on par with a McDonalds milkshake on a good day but obviously about 5x the price. I don't know if they got my order wrong or not but the "tenders" I received were smaller than McDonalds nuggets (picture of one of the so called tenders on top of the lid of their small dip pots). It all came in a box that was salt held together with some chips. For the same price I could've gone across the food court to Nandos and had half a chicken, bottomless drink and 2 sides for less, it would have arrived quicker and actually be palatable. Needless to say I shall avoid this overpriced KFC that is neither fast nor really food.

   Never again. Food was late and cold! Very disappointed with quality and quantity. I ordered an extra coleslaw and mac &cheese and the pots were half filled - you can see that on the enclosed photos. 2 spoons of M&C for nearly £5… shocking!Also, Texas toast was burnt. Not pleasant experience at all.

   When we first arrived, most of the table are empty but not cleaned We asked this man several times, he just passed by and ignored us completely, so I stand up and waved at him when he passed by, he finally stopped. Then we asked could you please help us wipe the table? He then said yes, back in a minute When he back, he just use the spray high up, and the spray actually was on my daughter. I had to pull her out from the table! There was also an incident, three teenager boys was walking out from the shop, he just stopped these boys and question them have they ordered! As those boys were having a soft drink cup on their hand! The way he asked was really rude….. I could feel the boys’ embarrassment! The boys said we were sitting on that table (the table he is cleaning in the photo) then he said can you go back inside the shop and show me! This guy is the reason I rated your shop so badly!

   Stopped by Slim Chickens at the mall food court and tried the 8 chicken wings with honey mustard sauce. Gotta say the flavor was solid. The wings were nice and juicy and the honey mustard had a great balance of tangy and sweet. Really enjoyed it. The only thing I wasn’t big on was the crispy breaded skin. It held onto quite a bit of oil so it felt a bit greasy for my taste. But other than that everything was great. The chips were soft but still tasty and well cooked. Not crispy but they had a nice texture and were seasoned well. They also give you a slice of toast which felt kind of random. It was a bit dry and I’m not really sure why it’s part of the meal. The place itself is clean with quick service. I only waited around 5 minutes and they even brought the food over to my table which was a nice touch, especially for a food court spot. Refillable drinks are a bonus too. Also worth mentioning it’s halal which is great to see. Overall a solid spot for a quick and tasty meal.

   Slim Chickens delivers on its promise of fresh, flavorful chicken. I devoured the 5 & 5 meal, featuring crispy, buttermilk-marinated tenders and wings. The chicken was cooked to perfection, and the variety of sauces allowed for customization. The standout, however, was the Texas toast – thick, buttery, and utterly delicious. Friendly staff and quick service rounded out the experience. While the price is a tad higher, the quality justifies the splurge. Definitely a spot to satisfy a chicken craving.

   I'd give no star, definitely gone down hill since I've last had it. very expensive considering is chips and chicken burger... I added coleslaw... £2.00 for it to taste like it been I'm the fridge for ages.... I could by one for m and s which taste good.... I wouldn't be eating here again bot worth it

   Absolutely dreadful. Been thinking of visiting for a while as it's always busy. But it's just rubbish KFC at Nandos prices. Food was cold. Fried pickles were soooo salty and soggy, and also had loads of fried onion thrown in. Chicken is pretty bland and a fraction of the size of the photos. The texas toast is just weird. Completely cold and tasteless. Ordered 4 different sauces that all tasted identical and nothing like they were supposed to. Will never visit again.

   First time coming to this establishment with family. Its a restaurant that has moved over from the USA, I love the feel of the warm and chilled atmosphere from the decor to the music. Table service or you can collect yourself. Food was right sized portion and was delicious and was loving it with every bite, the chicken was moist and tender. They do offer refillable drinks if that appeals to anyone. One of the sauces which my wife selected were a bit bizarre like gravey mayo, a very odd taste bit I wouldn't have it again. My main bad point was the music was up too loud as we couldn't have a conversation. If you haven't been I would give it a try but can be pricey but we paided £30 for 4 of us. Staff are friendly, polite, accommodating & helpful.

   Lovely place to eat, great food and friendly staff, more expensive than I would normally go for but amazing as a treat. Shakes are great, bottomless soda refills, fries are awesome with a great variety of dips.
