We ate here today and had the most delicious lunch. We particularly enjoyed the flatbreads, smoked Aubergine dip and the fava bean dip. You must have the slow cooked lamb shoulder with date molasses for your main course! The waitress was very friendly and attentive and the menu was very good value. We will definitely be returning

One of my favourite restaurants in Bristol! Great food and restaurant. Authentic food, and very reasonable prices. Also easy to book even on a weekend. Would recommend.

We booked here for Sunday lunchtime not realising it was a very limited set menu. We decided to stay as we have been several times before and liked the food and atmosphere. Only one other table in the restaurant was occupied. We ordered quickly (not much to choose from!). 20 minutes later the starters arrived. They were ok. After finishing the starters we waited another half hour for minced lamb kebabs. They were greasy and not well flavoured. I would have sent them back but we had already been there over an hour. We didn’t pay for the bread as there was hair in it. Do I want to see if this was a one-off bad day? Not really. Plenty of other places around.

Four of us recently dined at your restaurant in Bristol, and unfortunately, our experience was not what we had hoped for. Both the food and service fell below expectations, especially considering the reputation and richness of Persian cuisine. The dishes we received did not reflect the authenticity we anticipated. Service also felt disengaged; while the young lady serving us was polite, she did not appear particularly attentive. The gentleman, whom I presume to be the owner, seemed preoccupied during our visit, which did not give the impression of warm hospitality. It was also noticeable that the chef may not have been familiar with traditional Persian cooking, which is central to maintaining the integrity of such a culturally significant cuisine. Running a Persian restaurant is undoubtedly challenging, but if the passion for it is missing, the outcome risks giving visitors a poor impression of Persian culture and gastronomy. This is not intended as negative criticism. In fact, I see a great deal of potential in your restaurant. With modernisation, stronger focus on authentic preparation, and a more engaged service style, this establishment could truly flourish. Unfortunately, based on our recent visit, we are unlikely to return in the near future. We hope you will take this feedback constructively, as it is given with respect for the potential your restaurant holds.

Fantastic food, absolutely delicious. Customer service is a bit sub par, would have expected a bit more for the price of the food we paid. But either way, it was a nice experience.

One of the best restaurants that I have tried in Bristol. Nice, tender succulent kebabs and Koftehs with one of the best presentations of salads, cheese and humus. Staff is nice. Ambince is good. Starters: Their Naan-o-paneer is a must in starters. Ball e Jujeh in starters is also very good. Mains: Liked their jonobi Kofteh kebab and kebab bakhtiari. Khoresht Gahimeh i.e. braised lamb was a turn off for me. Deserts: ordered baklava. It comes with a tea pot and 2 pieces of baklava. Its a bit different from the traditional baklava but I loved it and would prefer it over the traditional one.

The food at Kuch is some of the best we have ever eaten. It is delicious, the flavours are matched perfectly, and the taste surpasses any Persian/Middle Eastern restaurant we have visited. The service is excellent and the staff endeavour to seat customers even when the place is busy (which is always). It is obviously a favourite! I recommend you book in advance because this place is not one to be missed. Incredible food!
