Amazingly delicious food — some of the best we’ve had since living in Thailand (esp. the massaman curry and the shrimp pad Thai). And such friendly service talking to the owner. Must be the best Thai spot in Bristol!
1st visit,OMG what an amazing place,the food is out of this world,what a selection and the service is 1st class,owned and run by Mantanee,a lovely woman who has lived in the UK for over 20 years,a wonderful place to come,highly recommended
We feel like we have found the most authentic Thai food in Bristol, friendly staff and genuinely excellent Thai food. We found ourselves discussing how authentic the flavours were and the menu allows for lots of different tastes. In our experience the cost represented excellent value and especially because it was an all round great experience.
Visited with family for birthday meal. Thoroughly enjoyed the food. It is very authentic; takes me back to holiday in Thailand. Particularly enjoyed Green curry and cooked it Thai spicy for us. Also enjoyed crispy chilli beef and pork with garlic.

Just had a meal at JP Destiny and it was fabulous from start to finish. Welcomed nicely and had a choice of tables. Choose the Oriental Menu set meal as it had a bit of everything. Each course was fabulous looking and so tasty. Really nice that the owner came out to speak to us. It's a must visit if you are in the Bishopston!!!!
Me and my family (8 of us) had a wonderful meal yesterday at JP Destiny to celebrate my birthday. The food, service and ambience was amazing. We enjoyed every course from start to finish and honestly ordered too much (we were hungry and a tad greedy!!) Amazing BIG portions and flavours! Me and my family often go to The Downs and pass this fine establishment and it would smell absolutely amazing and we are so glad we finally had a meal as this will no doubt be our go to restaurant in Bristol for thai food in a restaurant or as a takeaway from now.
