My son booked a table at The Greedy Goose Bristol for a Christmas Dinner. It was excellent. Our table was laid out for Christmas, crackers, table cloth. To walk in and see the table laid out for us was a great welcome! The food was delicious and plentiful, in fact we couldn’t eat all the veg that was put out for us. It was a great start to our Christmas Festivities. The staff were very friendly, cheerful, in fact we had a laugh and joke with the staff. The chief was a hoot! Really really enjoyed our meal there. Thank you so much, merry Christmas to you all at The Greedy Goose.

I hoped for a better experience. The service was curt and the food was okay. I ordered a baked potato, which turned out to be microwaved with cheese and beans. It was fine but nothing special. The place has potential, especially with the good farm shop beside it.

Lovely location and building with a veranda. On a good day lovely views of farm. Good service and food was presented well and hot. My main disappointment was that they no longer do a daily calvery which was the reason I went. Farm shop with lots of fresh produce.

Nice venue and restaurant with lots of parking which is good. The service and carvery is a bit odd as it's all plated for you so not really a carvery and this takes a long time so there was a long queue. The food however was amazing! I had all four meats which I don't usually do at other places as I find the beef tough but here it was cooked how I like it and not tough at all, all the other meats were cooked perfectly too I really enjoyed them. I also liked the vegetables, roasters and Yorkshire puddings. All the family enjoyed it and we will definitely be back again.

Was recommended for Sunday lunch. Meat was and looked lovely, veg could have been better especially the cheese sauce on the cauliflower, looked as though it had separated. Unfortunately the actual restaurant was freezing as was the red wine, not making a great place to relax and you just wanted to eat and go! Offered blankets but in this age not sure sharing is a good idea! Toilets out of order apart from disabled loo which definitely needs tlc !!! Overall ok but not the best

Fantastic carvery!, heard good reviews so I thought I would try and I wasn’t disappointed. There is a main dining area and a conservatory on the side. They do a standard carvery or a mega on a rectangle plate. Choice of 3 meats and good selection of veg and cauli cheese.Thatchers on tap.
