I ordered the Souvlaki Chicken Bowl from Taka Taka and wanted to share my experience. The bowl came with pita bread, skewer chicken, chips, feta cheese and salad. The chicken is halal which is great and the staff make sure it is cooked completely separately from the non halal meats. They use different utensils and do not cook it on the same equipment. You can taste the difference because the chicken was tender, juicy and well seasoned. The pita bread was warm and soft. The chips were fresh and crispy with a fluffy inside. The feta cheese added a nice salty flavour and the salad was fresh which balanced out the whole bowl. The main issue was the environment of the restaurant. It was extremely cold inside and not comfortable to sit in for too long. The toilets were the worst part of the visit. They were very poorly maintained with pee on the floor and an overall dirty appearance. It really brought down the experience. The food was enjoyable but the cold atmosphere and the state of the toilets need serious improvement.

Nearly £8 for 3 squash halloumi fries, salad that isn't fresh, melted ice cream and is brown, pita bread that isn't even cooked....all for the total of £28! Never again will I order from Queens Road, especially when you call up to complain your met with every excuse and no solution!

So tasty, quick and great value. Was middle of day and quiet and I was made very welcome.

It's a nice place to grab your food. I normally prefer to order on a counter. Here I was told that it's not possible(go and order from the machine); however, later they accepted to take order form the other customer! Anyway, I liked the Skepasti which comes with fries. It was nice and tasty but the fries could have had a bit of salt (I usually don't add salt to the food, but this time I could add more and more). The portion is huge and as a foodie one l, I couldn't eat more than half of it. Plus, they have vegan and vegetarian options.

Really went and somewhere to get out of the cold! Not my kind of place - greasy and fatty food but it's pretty popular! Prices seem a bit steep but the portions are good. Pretty noisy and not somewhere to get warm - the door is open most of the time with people coming in and out! I think it's aimed at the back from a night out time of the evening

Good taka deal. The chips are great. I hate raw onions:(

Nice wrap place, I got the large Jaadu Khana roll and the portion was very big, however there was a lot of dry cabbage in roll, I would come back to try more of the menu, not a lot of seating but good vibes.

Super food, had a chicken wrap with all the trimmings, every bite was a taste sensation and the larger option I went for was super filling. They were very busy and the order took a little time, but all the salads were fresh and it was cooked to order. The cakes looked amazing, staff were great, excellent choice of tucker of your in the area...
