The food was really good. Excellent selection. Not cheap but worth it. However the service was really slow. The staff were friendly, attentive and polite but it took quite a long time to serve courses. It didn't seem overly busy so maybe just a high volume of takeaway orders. Will definitely go back but maybe on a quieter evening.

Came here for the first time recently on a Monday night, so it was somewhat quiet. But U can't fault Mango House at all. Very good service, excellent food and service. They seem to do everything right.

Food was good. Some dishes were exceptional, some dishes had bland chicken and lamb, the lamb in particular was very dry. Service was attentive, plenty of staff on hand who are all working hard. Our group was pretty much first in restaurant, which filled quickly on a friday night (clearly a popular place), but our group appeared to have our food order taken last, we didnt have our starters until over an hour had passed. Soft drinks were mild/warm. The restaurant was ridiculously hot, windows were open, on a mild evening (16° or so), but the restaurant must have been 28-30°. The entire group was struggling, sweating, constantly having to wipe brow with napkin, and no-one had a hot dish. Someone asked for air con to be turned on to be told it was already on which was abundantly false. Decor is good.

I recently dined at this exceptional Indian restaurant in Chepstow and was thoroughly impressed. The Lamb Madras, Lamb Rogan Josh, Chicken Tikka, and Saag Aloo were all incredibly flavorful and well-prepared. The butter naan was also excellent. The service was outstanding, and the staff were attentive and friendly. The only minor drawback was that the lassi serving size was quite large. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking authentic and delicious Indian cuisine. The snow made the experience way much better.

The Mango House is without doubt the best Indian Restaurant I’ve been too. I’ve had several meals there, all have been top class. The service is excellent. All the staff are friendly and make you feel at home. Would thoroughly recommend going.

Samosas very disappointing, I had been fancying a good samosa for a few days and unfortunately I'm still waiting to have one. The ones at Mango house are obviously bought in and bland. ( Based on samosas alone I'd have had a COVID test as couldn't taste anything.) My taste buds certainly were working though and the tasty Curry actually made up for the poor starter and the Naan was very good as well. When it's apparent that someone there can cook. Either get them to make the Samosas or get a better supplier

Had a takeaway which I picked up and have to say the staff were polite and friendly. The food was second to none, it was one of the nicest Indian meals I have had for flavour and smell. Highly recommended.

Probably the best curry I've had. Amazing food and great staff. Will be going back there again.

Best Indian I have had since my friend Amit Kumar's high school graduation party in 1996, catered by his mum and aunties. Sagwala paneer as it should be. Thanks so much!

I have eaten here a few times now and not just the Chepstow restaurant but also in Magor and Cardiff and every time the food and customer service has been amazing. The food is very tasty, always hot and perfectly portioned. The customer service is also next to none, they always greet you with a smile and are very welcoming. Would highly recommend.
