    Arrived on a Friday evening to find they had NO burgers or milkshakes or a whole range of other things. Managed to order a meal. Waited an absolute age to get the food. Awful. Just because it’s at a services doesn’t mean it should be this bad!

    I don’t usually write reviews, but this experience was so frustrating that I feel like I have to warn others. I visited Burger King expecting a quick, simple meal – just a cheeseburger and fries. Nothing complicated, right? Wrong. I ended up waiting over 10 minutes for one basic cheeseburger and a portion of fries. Ten minutes! It wasn’t even during a busy lunch rush or anything. There were barely any other customers around, yet the staff seemed completely disorganized and uninterested in doing their jobs. No one greeted me properly, and when I finally placed my order, I got the classic “it’ll be just a minute.” But that “minute” turned into a ridiculous wait, with no updates, no apologies, no communication whatsoever. I stood by the counter like an idiot watching the staff slowly shuffle around, chatting and moving with zero urgency. When I finally got my food, it wasn’t even worth the wait. The cheeseburger was lukewarm, soggy, and looked like someone had stepped on it. The cheese wasn’t melted, the bun was squished, and the patty was dry. The fries? Cold and limp. They tasted like they’d been sitting out for half an hour. How does it take ten minutes to serve food that tastes like leftovers? I get it – fast food isn’t fine dining. But this was just lazy, careless service. Burger King used to be reliable, but this location (and possibly the brand in general) has clearly stopped caring about quality or customer satisfaction. Honestly, this was one of the worst fast food experiences I’ve had in a long time. I walked in hungry and left disappointed, annoyed, and still kind of hungry. I could’ve gone literally anywhere else and had a better time. Save yourself the trouble – don’t waste your time or money here.

    Chronically over priced!! £16 for a burger meal?! Bun was dry and disintegrated! Lettuce brown!! Impossible to eat, ended up trying to eat it with a fork. And they don’t even provide napkins!!! Loaded fries £4.79 and covered in weird herb n cheese sauce, absolutely disgusting gloop! Staff not used to dealing with humans! See pics

    We were served by Kim Marie, who was lovely. Very friendly and professional, thank you. Kim made us feel welcome, even at a motorway services. The meal was fast, with all the extra sauce and seasoning we needed. The plant King Burger was not as tasty as I expected. But that is down to the recipe, not the staff I think. Would definitely visit again when travelling. Thank you.

    DON’T COME HERE! Unfriendly, unhelpful staff. Food was stone cold asked for a new one and it was still cold, no apologies or anything they didn’t even say a thing. Just terrible.

    Absolutely awful. The staff had no enthusiasm at all and no urgency. The queue was long & took ages to get to the start. From ordering to getting the food it took 25 minutes. Where is ‘fast food’ in that?! Like i have seen in other reviews, you could cook a fresh meal in that time! I think they need to take a hard look at their staff & get more in as definitely understaffed. Will definitely not be returning to this Burger King - especially wouldn’t recommend if you want a quick stop.

    Can you give minus stars on here. Omg, so they are having issues and not open yet ok, But I’ve waited 30 mins it’s 12.21. Where is the personality. A dead fish would have a better interaction than these gormless moronic gimps. Where did you find these staff. I could cook a meal from scratch in that time not pre prepared fast food lol. Fast really

    when we ordered we seen the lady working drain out fresh fries. by the time we got our burgers they were luke warm. took around 7-10 mins from ordering to getting our food. no ice, cola was warm. burger seemed greasy. one staff member was swanning around doing nothing. one cooking and one on tills. the woman on tills seemed like she couldnt be assed to be there. 12 people in the que. come on... sort it out! supposed to be flame grilled
