   We ordered a takeaway, for collection, last night. Made the order online in the morning nd requested a collection time for the evening, which was accepted The food was lovely! We've not been before and we will order again. The samosas were small but tasty. The onion bhajis were lovely. Hubby had a chicken dhansak which would have been far too spicy for me, but he enjoyed. My chicken and mushroom biriani was delicious. We will definitely have a takeaway again.

   Backwell Indian has always been a reliable and friendly place. They have been very generous to me over the years (esp the two ladies who serve customers). The food is as good as can be expected. The only small complaint is the nann breads have literally reduced in size by 50%.

   We ordered Akbars feast from here. Popadoms were soggy / chewy and onion bhajis seemed liked they were cooked days ago, also chewy and couldn’t cut through. Both the curries that came were actually the same flavour - sickly sweet. We called to raise the complaint, however the person on the phone was extremely rude and was not ready to acknowledge the issue with our food and kept saying that we have been doing this for 26 years and basically what I am saying is wrong. As an Indian, I find it difficult that this food is being served as a representation of my country’s cuisine. Not happy with the service and won’t be ordering from here again.

   We orderd 4 poppadums alongside a curry and this was what was delivered. Literally feel like they picked up what they had dropped throughout the night. Last time they get an order.

   I have used this takeaway lots of times and always enjoyed the food. From the other reviews it sounds like delivery has some issues, but I always call then collect myself and I have never had any problems. I have tried the other local Indian takeaways, but always return to Backwell.

   This is not edible. The quality of kebab, is like a baked cake mixed in with 10% meat and boiled, Awful food. Chicken tikka quality was breast meat and ok to look at, the flavour was disgusting, no salt nothing! Never again and highly recommended no one else goes either.
