Great chip shop. Lovely staff here they are very friendly and welcoming. The price and quality is really good especially compared to others around. I only gave the atmosphere a three because it's a small dated place but after all it's a chip shop not a restaurant, and I'm sure this helps keeps costs down for customers. Disabled customers can use this as well because it's level and parking right out front. So if you want a traditional chip shop without city prices you can't go wrong here definitely worth a visit from further afield.

I called in late this evening for fish and chips for my family . It was a fairly big order as always . Well I can't fault anything . Staff couldn't do enough. They were happy to cook all fresh, The staff are very friendly and a good welcoming environment . Have to say tonights portions were very generous and very tasty . Keep up the good work and see you again soon xx

Had a fishcake that was rock hard, the smallest portion of chips ever and paid £6 for crap food. Would not bother going there again and the service is always slow

Been to this chip shop twice now. The food is good BUT on both occasions the order they cooked was wrong when compared to what they were asked for. Not just a bit wrong but majorly so. Second time a fish and Battered sausage missing which I had to drive back to get. Made to feel awkward when phoned and nothing offered to compensate in any way Chip portions are small. Their communication is awful. What kind of chip shop charges as much as them and doesn’t take a card? Would recommend you check the order before you leave with bag that you have to pay for which is full of the wrong order. Personally won’t go again

The quality of the food here is great BUT the service is dreadful. They seem to always be “training new staff” but clearly not very well, because they are incredibly slow every time you visit. More than 35 minute wait for fish & chips is completely unacceptable !!!

Chips were so cold. Mince beef pie pastry hard . Not going there again. Chips must be left standing . Discussing chips. If fresh hot would tasted diffent . I know times are hard. But don't rip customers off. .
