Had a carvery here for the first time today, with another couple. I’d been dealing with David, the General Manager trying to get us in (great communication). It gets booked up quickly for Sunday lunch, so I’ve struggled a bit, but he’s been great in accommodating us. And it was worth the wait. I’m lucky enough to have had two carverys in the space of four days and this one here today was better than the “Home of the Roast”. I normally pass on dessert, but enjoyed the carvery so much I felt I need to try a sweet! The Sticky Toffee Pudding was so good. Melt in your mouth type stuff. Great service too. Much more friendly than what I experienced in midweek with colleagues in South Gloucestershire. Thank you to David and his attentive staff for a great experience from the moment the doors opened. We’ll be back.

The food is of an exceptional standard, The food is cooked on location by highly skilled and passionate chefs. The staff are warm, polite and courteous. A beautiful rustic establishment both inside and out with plenty of free parking. Dog and child friendly. Highly recommend ❤️

Henry Weston on tap. Food came out piping hot even though there was a wait as it was Saturday night and busy but that was fine. We didn't wait too long. Curry and lasagna were good. Staff were friendly and welcoming

There was definitely an olde feel to this pub as we walked in, ducking heads as advised to avoid the low entrance and stepping into a comfortable and pleasant environment. It was full for a lunchtime, always a good sign. We were pointed to a board full of daily special dishes and another board showing the selection of pies before being taken to our table. The menu had a good range of options, including a number of vegetarian and fish dishes, and some pub favourites (I understand the liver and bacon is very popular!). Service was friendly and not too slow, although we didn’t feel rushed either. The food we ordered was excellent and there was plenty of it, so much so we couldn’t manage dessert, which was a shame as they looked lovely too. We will definitely be returning.

Went for a Christmas meal for the family, 7 adults and a 2 1/2 year old and was not disappointed. The Staff were great, very friendly and helpful, and the Christmas menu was excellent and great value. We would highly recommend the Old Farmhouse. A big thank you to the staff for an excellent evening.

Nice carvery on Sunday. Big portions and nice quality. Could do with a better beer selection, especially the alcohol free choice (only one when we visited).

Delicious vegetarian carvery today at The Old Farmhouse. We haven't visited in many years but the carvery was as good as ever - all very fresh and tasty. We found the prices per person to be reasonable, too. Good facilities including accessible toilet and baby change and Lego table which our boys enjoyed playing with. Service was prompt with no being forgotten about as seems to happen elsewhere. We hope to return soon.

Haven’t eaten here since before COVID and what a lovely surprise. We came with friends for lunch and all ate a different dish and agreed that each choice had been fab. The staff were fabulous, polite and attentive but not over the top - nothing was too much trouble. It was lovely to see the pub quite busy at lunchtime. We will certainly come back more often. Thank you to all the staff for a lovely afternoon.
