   The best Chinese I've had ever!!! Me and my partner put in our first order here tonight for collection and we absolutely loved it. Firstly the kid managing the phones and front desk was just excellent so efficient and polite. We ordered a variety of dishes including quarter aromatic duck and salt and pepper chilli chicken and everything was so flavoursome that chicken was hands down amazing with the addition of crispy onions it was great. Will definitely be back soon and 100% worth the money.

   Unfortunately we’ve had a bad experience with Sun Hall. Our regular Chinese was shut so we took a chance on this one (after hearing positive things). The food was over an hour late (they said the driver got lost on the drop off before ours). The complimentary prawn crackers also came with some complimentary human hair, this instantly put us off. The mains were underwhelming, prawn toast soggy and food was generally bland. Not the quality you’d expect for the price. Sorry Sun Hall, we won’t be coming back :(

   Really poor experience this evening. Placed an online order at 18:00 for delivery to Langford, with the delivery costing just under £5. Waited until 19:20 and phoned for an update. I was told they are busy but the driver had just left. Waited until 20:00 and phoned again for an update. I was told the driver was close, but I challenged this, as it shouldn't take 40 mins to drive to Langford. I was told, as they are busy, delivery can take up to 3 hours. 3 hours! I asked for a refund and got passed to the 'boss' by the unapologetic call handler. It sounded like there was a brief conversation during this call handover where the boss admitted to the call handler that they had messed up the order, but this was difficult to hear so I cannot be sure. When the boss came on the phone she at least apologised but insisted the driver was close. I did not pursue a refund any further as I prefer not to do this, especially during current cost of living etc. The driver eventually turned up a couple of minutes later, announcing "Sun Hall" and handed me the food. No apology. No extras as way of apology. No waiver of the delivery fee. Just said have a nice evening and walked off, like all had gone well. The food was generally nice. However, there was actually an unknown meat in the king prawn chow mein, which isn't great.. photo attached. Sun Hall, you simply cannot treat customers like this. Trying to palm off delivery times as anything up to 3 hours being acceptable is not okay. The communication was poor and there was no effort made to compensate for our bad experience. What would it cost to throw in some prawn crackers when delivery is slow to show you care? Despite the food being generally good, we have no intention of using you again.

   Due to Storm Eunice power cuts we couldn't cook for a day, so I decided to get a Chinese Takeaway for me and my elderly mother. I have serious food allergies (epipen etc), and my mother has an old person's delicate stomach... Sun Hall were excellent, they checked the ingredients of lots of dishes, and cooked our food specially to order eg no peppers or chillis for me, and a very mild chicken curry (without the mushrooms!) for my mother. I'm used to London takeaways - you certainly get larger portions in Somerset and lots of meat and fresh tasting vegetables too. I had enough in my order (chicken & cashew nuts, vegetable noodles) for two meals and I'm a big chap with a large appetite. Can't recommend enough - I will be bringing my elderly mother an extra mild chicken curry (without mushrooms) and boiled rice from Sun Hall on a monthly basis from now on. Thanks!

   Excellent food, probably best chinese out of 25 I have tried in UK, excellent customer service ordering by phone, also fast delivery! They know what they doing. We'll definitely order again and recommend!
