   We were recommended the carvery at The Old Inn and we weren’t disappointed. It’s right on our doorstep, and we can’t believe we didn’t know about this little gem before! There was a great choice of meats, all of which were delicious, served with lovely vegetables and a tasty homemade Yorkshire pudding. The desserts also offered a really good selection and were just as delicious. They even do the carvery as a takeaway, which we’ll definitely be trying in the future if we don’t return to eat in.

   Unfortunate experience yesterday with incredibly rude staff. Taking a look at some of the other reviews here and it seems to be a bit of a pattern from them with customers that aren't from the area. Very strange way to treat people, especially people looking to spend money at your establishment. In response to one of the negative reviews on here, the owners mocked their paying customers for playing a card game. Clearly very immature and needlessly aggressive. If you're local, then it seems you'll be treated like royalty. If you dare to travel here from 30 mins down the M4, then the staff will show you their true colours. Avoid like the plauge. Edit: in response to the below: there is another negative Google review to which you responded and mocked them for playing a card game. I referenced this old review as evidence that you and your staff show a pattern of disrespect to your customers.

   A really lovely pub with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food is tasty, portions are generous, and the staff are always friendly. Great place for a drink, a meal, or just to relax — definitely worth a visit!

   We went to Sunday the carvery for the first time and was well impressed. Super friendly staff, huge portions of well-cooked food, vegetables with shape and bite, not the overcooked slop you get some places. I asked for double gravy, no problem. Lovely flat scrumpy on tap too.

   Turkey potatoes yorkshire pud was cooked perfectly but the beef was to pink for me and a little bit tough veg not to my taste other people would like it personally i wouldnt go back for a carvery again. I would like to go and try a meal in the weekThe staff were great and friendly

   Two visits the week before last & had brilliant meals on both occasions. The lasagne was absolutely delicious and the steak & mushroom pie too. Not one complaint from any of us. There were 10 meals purchased over the 2 nights & 10 clean plates at the end. The staff are so friendly & welcoming with great atmosphere especially with the rugby & football on tv. Try to visit soon, you won't regret it Thanks to all the staff for their welcome & great food.

   Best pub in Clevedon. Tucked away on the East of Clevedon is this lovely old pub which caters for a wide range of clientele and has a great atmosphere. Log fire in the winter and nicely laid out garden for better weather, including a covered area with seating. Good food with a great Sunday carvery. Excellent choice of beers with up to five real ales- always well presented. Friendly staff and locals.

   Always good. Always friendly. Fun live music and a lovely garden. Frequent rotation of good guest ales although sometimes a little samey (rarely a dark ale but often multiple IPA's). Food good but not cheap.
