   ***Not disability friendly*** Just went into Yours Clothing on Argyle street Glasgow with my son who is always with me on our weekly trip to Glasgow. I always look around while he waits patiently at the front of the store on the ledge-at the window watching his phone. 2 staff were really attentive helping me when another spotted my son who was sitting at the entrance and asked him to get up and move.. we’ve been coming into the shop for years my son always sits at the front waiting on me- although he is now very tall he’s 14, well mannered and quiet, I suppose she may have thought he’d cause an issue. When I asked why he’d to move she’d said there was part of the display which wasn’t attached.. he wasn’t near part of the display and the ledge is very robust and more like a foot and a half wide.. and 12ft long- my son jumped up and became so flustered and upset.. we left the store while I tried to console him. I’m so dissatisfied and disappointed at the assistants attitude. I spend quite a lot of money in Yours and now think I may have to shop online due to this. My son has ASD and sits at the front of the store as he likes to keep out the way and allow me time to browse. Don’t judge books by their covers and please be more gentle and thoughtful when approaching people shopping in store.. you’d think the store assistant would be keen to keep shoppers happy, in store and thereby keep people coming into the store instead of shopping online. Surely customer facing assistants should be trained in effective communication with all people including the disabled being inclusive, if they want to have a job in a shop as there are so many shops closing and doing business only online only!! If this is an example of customer service no wonder there are so many closing down.

   Just new to Glasgow Argyle Street selling ladies fashions, trendy shop selling dresses, tops, skirts, trousers, t shirts, great choice ladies clothing. Worth a visit shopping in Glasgow. Ps its on corner of Miller Street & Argyle Street 2 mins from Argyle Street Station.
