I visited the Boots Pharmacy store located at 2, Station Road, Cheam, Sutton, Surrey SM3 8SW (UK) on 18/08 to purchase some medication for my son (who could possibly be at risk of anaphylaxis due to repeated wasp stings. I keep emergency medication on hand in the event he is stung by a wasp again whilst we wait for a referral to an allergy specialist). My son was due to spend the weekend with his father, who had mislaid the medication that I had previously supplied. I spoke to the pharmacist, Sana, who advised me according to my son's needs and as I was due to make payment - I broke down into tears and was unable stop or catch my breath. She asked if I wanted to go into her consulting room, to which I agreed and she accompanied me in, sat me down, gave me tissues, listened to me talk, listened to my fears about my son being stung again by a wasp, hugged me and then gave me further professional medical advice (which I will follow up). After approximately 10 minutes I regained composure, paid for the medication and left. I suppose the point of this lengthy review is not only to illustrate her professionalism, knowledge and customer service, but also her humanity. If she had let me leave the store in a state of panic and anxiety, I could have easily not paid attention to crossing the road (for example) or crashed my car etc Her actions made a huge impact on me and I will be revisiting the store to thank her myself and I feel extremely strongly that she should be recognised for her actions.

I have been using this pharmacy as my nominated provider for my NHS prescription. Typically, my wife has been the one to pick up the prescription on my behalf. However, during my recent visit to collect my prescription, I encountered some uncomfortable situations with the counter staff. They began asking me unnecessary questions and, to my surprise, they even asked if I possessed a form of Photo ID to verify my identity. It seemed as though their motive behind these inquiries was influenced by my Asian appearance, especially considering that my wife is white. I'll leave the rest to your interpretation.

Had to wait for another member of staff to arrive from home to store with card to allow prescription to be raised! At the end, I gave up waiting. Range is very limited, shelves half empty. Staff just standing around on their phones when they could be filing gaps on shelves or facing up. Shop looks untidy.

Untrained and unprofessional staff, have had eye issues in the past and just needed drops, was told I couldn’t buy it without a hospital referral! Absolutely ridiculous as I have never had this issue in 22 years. Went to the pharmacy across the road, was in and out with the drops in 2 minutes, no issues.

The rudest most unhelpful pharmacist I have ever come cross...Avoid......refused my prescription for cream...?? And said go somewhere else....

I'm not really a fan of how small this branch is.... The product selection is very limited and that has made me hesitant to not waste my time over the years. If I've ever needed basic health stuff when in this area I've usually checked Little Waitrose or the Sainsbury's Local first.

It's only a small branch so they don't have the full range of products and services, but they do have a good pharmacy with an excellent repeat prescription service.

It is a lot smaller than other Boots but the most important products are there. Great staff also
