Myself and my other half have played badminton twice here and the courts are nice and the staff are lovely my reason for 4 is the nets not being set up ready for the time we booked but other than this we really can’t fault it.
This is a small gym that is great for actually keeping fit without the frills of the big chains. The staff are friendly and very helpful. An excellent local community gym.
Attended my first pilates class, loved every minute of it , will certainly be coming again. Also attended my first dance class 5/12/23 , what a delight and a very lovely dance tutor who loves her skill, definitely a do again class. Hopefully I'll know my left from my right very shortly.
I recently visited Hindley Leisure Center and sadly, my experience was far from satisfactory. From the moment I stepped inside, it was evident that cleanliness was not a priority. The floors were dirty and appeared to be covered in dust, which was particularly concerning for someone like me who suffers from asthma. The lack of cleanliness made me question the overall hygiene standards at the facility. One of the major drawbacks of my visit was the indifference displayed by the staff. Despite being aware of the unclean conditions, none of the staff members took the initiative to address the issue or inquire about my experience. This lack of concern and attentiveness left me feeling neglected as a customer. To support my claims, I have attached a few pictures that clearly capture the unclean and dusty state of the leisure center. The images speak for themselves and provide concrete evidence of the poor maintenance and disregard for cleanliness. Considering my experience, I would not recommend Hindley Leisure Center, especially to individuals who suffer from asthma or have sensitivity to unclean environments. It is disappointing to see a facility that fails to prioritize hygiene and customer satisfaction. In conclusion, Hindley Leisure Center left me thoroughly disappointed due to its dirty and dusty floors, indifference from the staff, and overall lack of cleanliness. I hope that management takes immediate action to address these issues and improve the experience for future visitors.

Small and modest but i enhoy going several nights a week to play Badminton, its got the bare basics so can't fault it.
Great value for money as you don't just get the gym you can use other facilities including the baths
Staff very pleasant. Hall good for our badminton teams. Will be closing next week for 3 weeks. New lights being fitted then exams for 2 weeks.It has been far better now new lights installed. Now arranged a block booking for our group.All as before. No real change.
Good set up at the leisure centre but could do with some minor improvements. Lights in the sports hall need replacing I believe just waiting on the council to fix this as of Jan 2022
