I use this Boots as my local one for medications and they have been wonderful for working with my doctor within Barnes.

Went there to collect my prescription and apparently they’re closed during lunch time! I will change my preferred pharmacy.

Just claim that items are endlessly out of stock with "suppliers" despite selling the same product on the shelves prices individually. I thiink my NHS prescription didn't make them enugh money. They ended up telling me to get the items at a private pharmacy. They lie and are the worst customer service.

I do not think they deserve one star. Vey incompetent staff. I went this morning to collect my son's prescription. They were totally lost. All staff confused. The lady looked like the senior member answered vaguely and give me very unsatisfactory answer. BOOTS SHOULD INVESTIGATE AND EITHER CLOSE OR DISMISS THIS UGLY/ILLETRATE STAFF.

Less than worthless place. - ∞ rating if I could. Absolutely appalling customer service and shocking levels of incompetence without so much an apology. Worst customer service we have ever come across. To any potential customers, take heed to the reviews and stay far far away. This place needs a serious overhaul if it is to be functional. I would like to lodge an official complaint but since noone ever picks up their phone, could the owner kindly reply and get in touch with their email address.

I had been using this pharmacy for 3 years and never had any problems until the last time i went there. They were my nominated pharmacy for my repeat prescription, and because its contraception i was told you do not need to pay. So last time I went with my partner, and the man behind the till was really rude, he said i needed to pay, despite me telling him its contraception, he even laughed in my face and went to get the manager and said out loud β€œhey have you heard she hasn t paid her prescription in 3 years…” who also said my prescription was not contraception, i told them it was, my partner had to intervene as it was getting out of hand and explain to them what it was for. They said they misunderstood the name, which was a poor excuse given it clearly states on the label. All of this in front of other customers, no respect for our privacy. As a customer i should not feel like i need to explain what my prescription is for, as i would assume that as a pharmacist you would know, and would also be professional enough not to shout and embarass a customer in front of other people for no reason. I was really surprised by the reaction of the manager given she was the one who would regularly see me collect my prescription in that 3yr time span. Ive now changed nominated pharmacy due to this experience and chosen one that is a lot further away from where i live.

Was lied to, to my face! I went in to collect my prescription, it had been about 5 weeks old. They told me that β€œAfter 5 weeks the NHS takes the prescription back so we cant do it” Which is a lie, because I have worked in pharmacy. I know the routines of what happens, even when a prescription is old. Prescription expiry dates are 6 months. What happened is that I was a new patient to their pharmacy, so they assumed it was a mistake and have either claimed for it already and haven’t given me the medication, or they have returned it to the spine. I have already contacted another pharmacy and they have told me that Boots still have it. Currently calling multiple times to try and speak to someone. Do not go here if you’re a new patient. Choose an independent pharmacy.

Incredible people, I wasn't given clear introductions on an A&E visit, likely due to miscommunication, and these people absolutely took care of me and taught me how to care for my wound. Very well trained professionals with good stock of basic and advanced medical supplies. I've gotten my flu shots here for the last 3 years also and they've been nothing but professional about the process and have answered all of my questions.

Wouldn't say the staff are rude, but just too slow. Was more interested in having a chat than actually serving customers. I was the only one in the store when I started queuing and it still took over ten minutes to just buy a simple prescription. The other customer behind me actually had to peep into the store room to remind them to serve as by the time they started me the queue had grown to six people. If I have to wait fine but it's good customer service to be polite and tell them that there's a short wait.
