   I recently went to pick up my prescription as usual when the treatment I received was unlike anything I have ever experienced. Usually the staff are very kind and deliver excellent service, the owner is great and is always helpful. However, the older gentleman i was served by was anything but. I initially had to keep repeating that the date my prescription was accepted by the pharmacy was that days date and not ‘tomorrow’ as the person serving me kept saying. He said he would look anyway. He then proceeded to grab my hand and make a biting gesture towards my nails (I bite my nails ). It’s something I’m self conscious about and didn’t appreciate him trying to make a joke out of it. He then across the other side of the room found my prescription but then shouted out my prescription and asked for my address, so now all the other customers in the pharmacy know what medicine I am taking and the first line of my address. The most disappointing part was when he handed me my medication, saw that the medication was prescribed for a mental health condition and went ‘depression?’ and then laughed to himself about it. This was in front of other customers who now know a sensitive topic about myself. At this point I just wanted to pay and leave which I did. For a healthcare professional to laugh about someone receiving medication for a mental health condition is simply abhorrent. It is extremely worrying what could have happened if a more vulnerable individual was treated this way after being given their prescription. People with a mental health condition already feel bad enough they have to take medication for it at the best of times, thankfully I am in a position where this did not have an impact on my emotional state or wellbeing. Extremely disappointing and rather depressing (ironically). I was also given the wrong medication a few months back and only noticed when I got home and opened it. I was given medication for a thyroid problem when I was expecting antidepressants!

   The service used to be great but today was not. The woman working there was rude whereas in the past she’s been fine. I normally dress nice and wear makeup, but these past few months I’ve been incredibly ill and unable to take care of myself. I’ll admit, today I looked like a bit of a scruff and I was wearing a hat to cover alopecia. I was treated so rude until she found out I pay for my medication. I’ll be getting my future medication from a pharmacy that doesn’t treat its less fortunate patients differently.

   Can you please update ur Sunday opening hours because I have been to st.helier out of hours gp for my baby who is really unwell and doctor send out the prescription to you guys ,when I came it was closed then I had to go again to the hospital waited in the queue to see the doctor then asked him to send the prescription to Tesco for pharmacy .I understand not every pharmacy opens on Sunday but why in hospital record showing that you are opens on Sunday ???this is health care business so please be professional.

I was in a really stressful situation needing an urgent prescription, and they both went above and beyond to support me. David was calm, professional, and reassuring — exactly what I needed in the moment. Louise was kind, efficient, and so understanding. Between them, they managed to sort everything out quickly and made what could’ve been a nightmare experience feel manageable and even pleasant. Their compassion, knowledge, and genuine care made such a difference, and I’m so grateful. It’s rare to find that level of service these days. Absolute credit to the profession.
