Started off with the poppadoms which to me are a must when going to an Indian. They came out nice and crisp and the dips alongside them really stood out. The mango chutney had that sweet sticky flavour that pairs perfectly with the crunch while the mint sauce was fresh and cooling with just the right amount of tang. A proper good combo to start the meal. For my main I went with the meat Bhuna and I have to say it was spot on. The sauce was thick, rich and packed with flavour, not overly spicy but full of depth. The meat itself was tender and soaked up the sauce really well so every bite had a good kick of that Bhuna flavour. Paired that with keema rice which was lovely. The rice was fluffy and light but every mouthful had those little bursts of spiced mince in it which gave it more bite and made it far more interesting than plain rice. I also got a cheesy naan to go with it. I will be honest, the edges were a bit stale which was a shame but once you got into the middle it was soft, gooey and properly cheesy. When you ripped a piece off and scooped it up with the Bhuna it was an absolute winner. The cheese and sauce worked so well together. The restaurant itself has a really nice decor, clean and welcoming, and the staff were brilliant. They were friendly and kept checking in to make sure everything was alright without being overbearing which really made the experience feel relaxed. Only downside is that I did end up with a bit of an upset stomach after which was unfortunate, but apart from that the food tasted great and the service could not be faulted.

Came here with my two daughters and had a really lovely time. All the food we had was just delicious, thoroughly enjoyed all the dishes. Waiting staff were very attentive and friendly. Girls made use of the small play area outside too, what a nice little addition!

We came in on a Tuesday evening, it was very quiet which was lovely. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We had a bhuna and Rogan Josh and both curries were delicious. We sat in the conservatory area at the front which was lovely. All served on piping in hot plates which is always a nice touch. Great Value for Money! 100% would recommend!

Just had a take away from Bay of India It was lovely, I wish I never chosen a Korma but that just my bad choice. My husbands Lamb Karahi was amazing. Big chunks of lamb. We also had complementary two Popadoms and dips. Highly recommend lovely and friendly staff Will definitely return in the future.

Came here on our last night of our holiday, we’ve been coming to Brean for years but never thought to visit this place. We’re big fans of Indian food and so tonight was the night we finally decided to try it out - and wow! From the very first welcome to the goodbye, everything was very in sync, friendly, professional, fast, welcoming, and an all around 5* experience. The food itself was top tier, absolutely loved it and even asked for a takeaway box so we could finish it later. The service was amazing, could not fault anybody there and you can tell the team works great together (helping each other, communicating to ensure smooth run of service, everyone was happy, great atmosphere). Unfortunately I didn’t get everyone’s names but one of the great servers was Alex! Thank you all for your amazing service, food, and for finishing our holiday on a high note. We will definitely be returning and recommending this place to friends & family :)

I can't believe all the negative reviews posted for this place. Been coming here for years and (aside from 2020 with the Covid blip, when the food was definitely below par probably down to staff shortages) we've never otherwise had a bad meal. And there has certainly been none of the rudeness mentioned by some of these bullsh*t reviews. Infact the only rudeness we witnessed last night was from CUSTOMERS who wouldn't accept that they couldn't get in because the place was FULL! The food tonight was excellent. Lamb Biryani, Chicken Tikka Masala and the old chestnut Chicken Balti. All simply top drawer and arriving at the table in good time. No 'bland, 'tasteless' food. No 'well over an hour' waiting and no rude staff. Well worth a visit if you fancy a proper curry as opposed to the ready meal curries the pubs round here all serve up. Five stars all round. You negative review posters should stick to soup in a basket at Krackers. Update 2022, as excellent as ever. Food was top notch. Beer was great. Service was attentive and polite. Doggy bagged what we left for later, no problem - 5*
