Our new kitchen has just been installed & we are very pleased with all the unit’s & electrical appliances.All the guys who installed them were all very helpful & hard working,nothing was too much trouble.
I'm going to tell you a story. But if you don't want to read it all, the take-home-message is that we are very satisfied and we totally recommend Generation Kitchens & Bathrooms. Several months ago we started thinking about home renovations. We thought the ensuite bathroom was going to be the first bit, but then the kitchen gave up the ghost and took precedence. In our quest for contractors, at some point (long story) we found Generation. The first things that attracted us were competitive prices and the single point of contact in one provider for the whole of design, contracting, fitting, finishing, and other bits like electrician, plumber, and painter. We discussed the design for weeks with Mags, who so patiently provided us with so many permutations. We also talked at length with Mark and Ross for project management, timelines, and all-in price. We have always felt very well looked after. We did have an issue with the planned timeline. This however was due to a provider and an unfortunate mix of holidays. The Generation Team was prompt in addressing the issue, and we agreed on a revised plan. Overall we were content with the new solution... and so the day came! Now, my husband and I are rather picky, and I am paranoid about the safety of our over-spoiled kitty, and we work from home most of the time (which may be an advantage or a disadvantage depending on viewpoints). Mark and Ross both came at the beginning, and Mark came almost every day till the very end. The crew, both primary team and sub-contractors (I think about 8 people in total, not all at the same time), we're all very polite, respectful, open, and - most importantly - efficient and professional. The full job was done in a bit less than the 2 weeks planned, and disruptions were rather minor (well, it's hard for us not to cook, but that is necessary if you make a new kitchen!). Everything was dealt with timely, properly, and with full open communication. Every day the crew cleaned up when they left, and they always let us know of any deviation. Our kitty got used to them and she wasn't even too stress by the end of it! ...and the result! It's stunning! Not only the kitchen works perfectly and we are absolutely in love with every single item, but it also looks good. Ultimately, we are really happy with the overall customer service and the personable relationship we have experienced with all staff. I have already recommended Generation to a neighbour, and hopefully we ourselves will soo be back for our bathroom project! Thank you!
Very good service from bisset & steedman delivering my new Indesit washing machine 48 hrs after i visited showroom. The machine i chose was on their database but not on the website so their selection is wider than i first thought. Very quiet inverter motor. Apologies to bisset for my 'pensioner techno error' when i somehow deleted my previous 5 star review from jan 2017 wash machine delivery.
Our induction hob broke so we met with Mark in-store unannounced. We agreed an install date 3 days later, and that only took 10 minutes to discuss. Tradesmen were friendly and efficient too. A local business in Prestonpans with parking space so that saved us the hassle of driving into town. A quick and painless experience, so 5 stars from me.

Having recently moved house and was in urgent need of a new dishwasher I contacted the company and from the initial phone call to installation the service was excellent. The work was completed within a couple of days and the guys even mended a leak we had! Will definitely use again.

I got this company to install a new integrated dishwasher which they delivered and installed quickly and perfectly. Unlike some retailers, they have no problem with doing a hard wired electrical installation for appliances and so I will definitely be recommending them / using them again.
I have been using this company for all my personal and business appliances for around two years. The service has been first class and most importantly they have been great at giving accurate time slots. When working for our letting agency they have been able to pick up keys and removing and recycling the old machine which is a great help to us. I would recommend this company without reservation.
