Looking for replacement oven grill element, took the old one to the shop they found the correct one for me and ordered it with no commitment until it arrived to check all dimensions are correct. Compared old with new looked same . Shop tested new one also before I took it away. Fitted new one 10min job fixed and now working grill .

VACUUM EXCHANGE mended Henry in 24 hours at a reasonable cost. It works fine now. Staff are polite and gave me information is the nicest way possible. They also helped me decide whether to mend our Henry or purchase a vacuum cleaner reconditioned by them.
Very nice old school shop. They fixed our vacuum in only one day at a very reasonable price. They have a wide selection of lightbulbs and also sell heaters, and were kind enough to let us in with our wee dogs.

I'm partially sighted, and daren't try to fix anything electric myself. I went to shop after shop asking for somebody to take a look at a lamp for me, and was constantly sent away because nobody repairs things any more, despite me saying that I was sure it wasn't anything serious, I just wanted somebody to tell me what, if anything, needed replacing. The lamp was a gift, and I hate throwing stuff away when it could be fixed. Lovely lady in this shop was very understanding and helpful, she had a look, and it turned out the fuse had just gone and needed to be replaced. I know fuses don't cost much, but she wouldn't even take any money off me for her time. Absolutely made my day. Can't recommend them highly enough.
